| On 26th October, hitList reported how Abhay of Kkusum was to be killed in a car crash.
The reasons given for this was the timing slot of the show being changed from prime time. Now we hear that the decision to let Anuj Saxena (Abhay of Kkusum, aired on Sony) was not amicable. And that he was shown the door by Balaji Telefilms.
According to an insider, Anuj had given many headaches and so Ekta Kapoor she'd had enough from the actor, who, according to our source "had grown too big for his boots". He is pretty snooty...maybe his ex wife was right...maybe he was a jerk Accidental ouster
Kapoor's lieutenant, Nivedita Basu, confirmed that Anuj's departure from the telehouse was final. "No plastic surgeries this time," says Nivedita. "We can't take his nakhras any more. Ekta asked for his removal." Hahahahahahahaha Nakhra's...only women do Nakhray!
Adds our Balaji source, "Anuj wasn't giving dates. The entire combination with other actors was getting messed up. Subah mein bolta hai, aa raha hoon; thodi der ke baad kehta hai, nahin aa raha hoon." Maybe he had a problem!...What a bad actor!
There are also whispers of Anuj demanding a fee hike every two months. Ekta confirms the ouster with, "After five years of being on the show, Anuj behaves this way! I am extremely disappointed with his unprofessional attitude."
Ordinary actor Adds the official, "Does Anuj even realise that He is just Abhay to all and sundry; we wonder if anybody knows him otherwise. Plus, he is such an ordinary actor. No one knows him. He is not very good at acting, I'm sorry to say.
Of late, he had to play a mentally challenged person, something very similar to what Varun Badola did so well in Koshish. Anuj was extremely bad in that track; he was just not able to do it. See even I said he was bad at that act! He cannot act! He even interfered and said 'Main aisa expression nahin doonga, waisa nahin karunga'. How can an ordinary actor like him dictate terms and not listen to the director?" It sounds like the child acting actually came in his brain in real life. 'Main aisa expression NAHIN DOONGA!' Nivedita offers further, "He has a problem with Poonam Narula; he doesn't speak to her. We had a lots of problems when their husband-wife track was in progress. Now, with Shilpa Saklani, he doesn't have a problem, but he'd always gives ultimatums — if we wanted Shilpa to shoot in the morning, he would say he will be available only in the evenings." Are Anuj's marital problems (he recently filed for divorce) and the fire that gutted his Elder Pharma office affecting his temperament? "I don't think so. Anuj has been a problem since nearly a year," says the source.
Did Balaji sit across the table and ask him what his problem was? Says Nivedita, "He sent us a message that he wants to be eased out by the 1,000th episode, which will air on November 29. But we have decided to eliminate him (from the serial) one month before that." HAH! Got kicked out before!
"Balaji has decided not to work with Anuj Saxena in future," reveals the official. We contacted Saxena for an explanation. "Is it anything urgent? I am surrounded by five people; I will call you back in five minutes," the actor said, but never did. So what if you're surrounded by five people? What difference does that make?
Anuj had been replaced by Rohit earlier in Kkusum. "Rohit kept telling us he wanted to come back. Hence, Ekta has decided to recall him," says Nivedita. I hope he comes back! He really knows how to act! He was the best! What will happen in Kkusum?
Abhay returns to India after recovering in Malaysia. He decides he has nothing to do with Kkusum now, and burns her photos and belongings. Though Kkusum is in Malaysia, he performs her last rites.
Abhay's family also follows him to the cremation ground. Kkusum's aai (Savita Prabhune) wonders why he is doing all this. Abhay is in no mood to listen. Post the kriya-karm, on his way back home, Abhay is killed in a car accident. Hope u guys liked my comments.
