I agree that Neil is not being a vigilante because he doesn't respect the law, but he knows he can't get evidence against Vidyut lawfully! Even this he is not doing to get evidence against VR! He is trying to hit him where it hurts enough so that he will weaken enough to say that's it, I give up and admit he's guilty! At least that is what Neil said to Neela.How far this will work only time will tell! I hope we get a crime fighting duo of Ananya and Neo together in the future. But jokes apart Avni is still in deep shock! She can't belive Neil didn't trust her! Did he ever love her etc? Was his love strong enough? That's why she said "maybe he didn't love me truly! She knows he loved her, but is this true love? Fair question! She was SO desperate to prove her innocence to him, she even sat with the polygraph machine herself! This is a girl who never tried to prove herself to anyone? Can you imagine how much in love she was? So this hard come down from that high was just too harsh and sudden! The shock alone takes a long time to recover! When you love somone like that and they gave every indication they felt the same way about you too, you just can't believe they can let you down like this. To understand Avni you need to have felt what it's like to get your heart broken! Only then you will know how she feels! I totally get it! I also get Neil, but we have to accept that this way of protecting Avni was highly flawed and may have done more harm than good! Ouch!

Yes Mandy, I know, it was a big risk that Neil took but maybe he knows deep down that she is very strong, he said it once, he said he has never seen someone as strong as her, and we know about Neil and his extreme ways, can we forget Rhea affair drama, leaving the altar drama and the most shocking one faking Juhi's death drama without even informing the family!! He has always took risks this way, I don't agree with him all the time, but this is how he functions and as Shona said he likes to get verbal confessions all the time even when he had evidence, DVM, Juhi (we know the plan of Neela pretending suicide was extremely silly honestly, a new DNA test could have been way better) but seems he always likes to have verbal confession as well, and I heard that in law confession is the biggest evidence!

I explained about becoming Neo being important and even crucial but not enough, in another post I said if he can't get evidence and wants to get a confession from Vidyut he should do more than just destroying his business and power, he should play mind games with Vidyut, attack him from other angles, dig out his past...

Interesting discussion. First thing I strongly believe Neil did a facade of removing marriage symbols but actually kept them intact. First one is sindoor. He wiped the fresh sindoor which he put not the one she put herself. Second he removed new mangalsutra nit the one he tied around her neck during marriage or gazebo. Okay here is my theory. He did all of this to show Vidyut that Avni is not his vulnerability but to protect her from his lust he can go to any extent. And secondly arrest would not have been convincing if he had not done it. He was prepared for her hatred and possibly he thought that she will be reeling from it that she won't try to read the real reason which will keep her away from Vidyut. He did not want her to avenge Vidyut in anyway knowing Vidyut intentions. Bit
