Avni's defense mechanism

What Avni feels for Neil now is not hate, it's love only expressed through hurt and anger, actually she never hated him, she doesn't hate him and she will never hate him, he is her one and only love and in her own words no matter what he thinks of her she will always love him.

It's her defense mechanism, she might not admit it not even to herself that she loves him or cares, but her reaction itself whenever Neil or love are mentioned shows clearly that yes farak padta hai. If u notice, she is calm in all other situations even when she thinks about Vidyut, but with Neil, she feels sadness, hurt, disappointment and anger because he didn't trust her (that's what she thinks) and broke his relationship with her (we know it's not true, mangalsutra is different and he wiped the sindoor he applied while she had another sindoor the one she applied before) and more because during all these 6months he didn't come one single time to see her or ask about her and now she sees in TV that he is enjoying his job and is even appreciated for it without thinking about her.

Avni has always been like this with Neil whenever she felt she isn't trusted or loved by him, remember the Gazebo time, she was angry, remember when Ali was kidnapped and she thought Neil didn't believe her and didn't trust her, and then when Neil accused her of taking Juhi out, she uses harsh and very hurtful words when she herself is hurt badly by him but all these are just reflecting how much she loves him and how much he impacts her, I feel that her aim is not only to destroy Vidyut but also to prove her innocence to Neil because that's what mattered to her the most.

Due to her self respect and her ego to some point (positive wala ego), she will never admit that she still loves him or cares about him, not even to herself but deep down she loves him but she is so hurt, and I'm sure when she will meet him she will be cold to him (facade/pretense, her heart will be affected) and will say some of the most hurtful things ever but as I said all these things only show how much she loves him and was hurt by him.

I agree with you. Hate is very strong term to use for what Avni feels for Neil now. The Avni I know can never hate Neil. She is only hurt because she felt Neil didn't trust her as his trust was the most she wanted when she was accused for a crime she didn't commit. Neil's views about her always mattered most to Avni. I also feel that after collecting evidences against Vidyut, she will first confront Neil with them, and will tell him that look I am innocent but you didn't believe me.

Exactly this is her defense mechanism, she doesn't react much , but she only reeacted seeing Neel on tv or hearing the word love and friendship,which is both related to Neel,for her Neel was and will be everything,

Totally agree with you I am happy at least she showing some emotions its better then behaving indifferent that would have been much worse

Totally agree with u. She will never hate him. She is so hurt. When dhe come to know about his sacrifice. She will melt.

I agree, Avni can never hate Neil whatever she feels now is the pain of not being believed by someone whose opinion mattered to her the most. Avni did not care for anyone else's opinion be it her family or friends, all she wanted to hear was from Neil that he believes her innocence. It really shattered her to know Neil could believe she did this and once again awakened the insecurities and scars from her past. Avni has been through so much in her life it is only natural she would have this defense mechanism and put walls around her heart, I just hope that she finds some peace whenever she learns the truth behind Neil's actions. I don't know if it can undo the damage he did to their relationship but at the very least she can know that Neil never believed she was guilty and to this day has fought for her innocence.

Yes avni will never hate Neil. Her anger and disappointment are justifiable. But the damage which is to done has already done.both Neil and neela on the name of protection had triggered the wrong place. Even after knowing the truth she may forgive him. But for Neil gaining her trust seems to be the most difficult task for him.
