"Bhaiyaa, O took Gauri away from me. sobbed Rudra
"Who? asked Shivay and Om in chorus.
"Bhaiya, Gauri. Said Rudra, "The one I am having crush on since first year.
"Gauri... repeated Shivay trying to recollect the time when Rudra announced that he has found a girl who he likes. Though, Rudra finds a different girl every other day and falls in love, this girl has been a constant mention for past year.
"What rubbish, Rudra? I don't even know who Gauri is. Argued Omkara
"Don't lie, O. She clearly told me that she loves you.
"Love!!! asked Omkara shocked. "Pagal hogaya hai, Rudy "
"There is some misunderstanding, Rudra. How will Om know your college friend?' asked Shivay
"I don't know all that. Gauri told me that she loves Omkara Singh Oberoi aka our O. Said Rudra
"Don't be a kid, Rudra. Everyone is waiting for you downstairs. We will talk once the party is over. suggested Omkara.
"No, I will not come to party. I am very sad. Cribbed Rudra
"Rudy, don't make me angry. Chided Omkara making Rudra pout.
"Ek minute. Said Shivay taking Rudra's phone. "Ask your friend to bring Gauri here. We will solve this confusion at once.
Five minutes passed before Gauri entered Rudra's room along with Chubby. Her expression mixed with confusion and anger soon turned to dreamy on seeing certain Zulfi Kara. With a goofy grin, Gauri walked up to Omkara.
"Hey, I am Gauri Kumari Sharma. She introduced herself extending her hand.
Rudra pouted at her interest.She never smiles at me. He said. Omkara and Shivay looked at her bemused. Omkara kept looking at Gauri with a frown and didn't shake her hand, but Gauri stood there without deterring smile. When Omkara realized she won't move without shaking his hand, he cautiously shook hands with her.
Gauri stood beside Omkara looking at him coyly creeping the hell out of Omkara.
"Shivay... called Omkara asking his brother to do something about the situation.
"Haan, right. Said Shivay bracing himself. "Gauri, right? he asked and Gauri nodded affirmatively. "What are we hearing from Rudra, Gauri? He says that you lov...err I mean like Om. It is not possible, I know. Why don't you just clear Rudy's misunderstanding?
"Not like, I am in love with Omkara. She said grinning at Om.
"Shivay... said Omkara a bit scandalized as he ran to stand beside his brother leaving Gauri. "Rudy ke tarah uski dost bhi pagal hai. Complained Om
"Deka, bhaiya... Om stole Gauri from me. Cribbed Rudra.
"Rudra... called Gauri as she walked to stand in front of him. "I know I hurt you, Rudra. But, you have to forgive and forget me. We should maintain a cordial relationship now, specially as I am going to be your bhabhi soon. "
"Bhabhi!!!! shouted shocked Shivay and Omkara looking at each other.
"Bhabhi??? asked a distressed Rudra.
"Bhabhi? Kaun bhabhi? all eyes turned to the source of the voice to find Daadi
Shivay and Omkara looked at each other and gulped their saliva nervously.
"Kaun bhabhi? Koi nahi. Said Shivay acting casually
"Koi bhi nahi. Added Omkara. The last thing Om wants is to involve his Daadi, as that will only increase his trouble. His daadi will start her pre defined speech on ishqbaazi.
"Rudy, neeche kyun nahi aaya? Everyone is waiting for you. She chided. "Don't tell me you brothers are having Obro moment here, when you have party downstairs.
"No, Daadi, not at all. Said Shivay
Daadi was about to walk out asking the three to come down faster, when she noticed Gauri. Seeing a new girl midst the boys certainly piqued her interest.
"Who are you, puttar? she asked
Gauri smiled wide at being acknowledged and immediately touched Daadi's feet for blessing.
"Bless you, puttar. But who are you? asked Daadi
"Ji, I am Gauri Kumari Sharma. I am from Rudra's college. She said
"Rudra's college? Daadi worked her mind to find where she has heard this name. "Are you the one who likes Rudra? asked Daadi remembering Rudra mentioning about her.
"No, daadi. I am the one who likes Omkara. Said Gauri with unfaltering smile.
"Omkara??? asked a surprised Daadi.
Daadi has never before heard Omkara and a girl's name in same sentence. He is her sharif pota who never gets into any girl business. The last time he had a proper girlfriend was three years ago and that only lasted for five months. Omkara was more dedicated to his art than anything else in his life.
"What is this Om? asked Daadi looking at Omkara
"Daadi, woh... Omkara mentally cursed the pagal ladki for putting him in spot. "Shivay... he called to his brother. Why don't you tell, daadi?
"What do I tell daadi? asked Shivay confused.
"Tell her that it is mazaq. Om said looking at Shivay pointedly.
"Yes, Oh ! daadi it was a joke. Agreed Shivay with awkward chuckle.
Though, daadi wasn't convinced, she didn't pry much. "Come down fast. She mumbled before walking out.
Silence maintained in the room which was broke by Shivay's strong voice.
"Now, our first preference is part. We have lots of guests and media here, so Rudy I want you to behave normally instead of sulking and enjoy the party, okay? We will all talk about it later after the party. Said Shivay
Everyone agreed and walked out of the room one by one. Shivay pulled Omkara back and said, "Look, Om. Why don't you talk with Gauri?'
"Me? Why? panicked Omkara.
"Maybe she is just doing this to dissuade Rudy from perusing her. Talk to her and get a perspective only then we can arrive at conclusion said Shivay and Omkara agreed

Omkara managed to find Gauri alone and decided to talk to her.
"Listen, I don't know why you are doing this, but you have to stop it.' Said omkara
"I know, you would say this. Said Gauri. "You may not love me yet, but I will wait.
"What rubbish? We saw each other only today and you claim to love me? That is ridiculous. "
"Sometimes all you need is a second to fall in love. Said Gauri
"Don't use these filmy dialogues on me, Okay? Tell me the reason at once why are you doing this?
"I swear I am in love with you.
Omkara closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Okay. Even if that is true, I cannot love you.
"Why?
"Because I don't feel the way about you.
"Yet added Gauri. "Maybe you will like me once you get to know me.
"That is a big maybe said Omkara
"I am very optimistic, Mr.Artsit.
"Rudy is already hurt because of you and that itself gives me biggest reason to not love you. Said Omkara
"You know your brother better than me. He is not actually in love with me. Said Gauri
"It doesn't matter. You made him sad and I can never forgive you for that.
"Will you consider me if I make him happy? asked Gauri
"What?
"If I make Rudra happy and he himself is ready to see us together then will you consider dating me? Will you be my boyfriend?
"I am not up for any of your crazy schemes.
"Please, you have to give me one chance. Don't break my heart. She pleaded genuinely
"Fine, if Rudra is happy and he himself says that I can have... you know... I can see you, then I will think about it.
Gauri jumped clapping her hands gleefully.
"Perfect. Omkara Singh Oberoi, be ready to be swept off your feet. Declared Gauri.
