Sara Ali Khan's Kedarnath to clash with SRK's Dwarf in Dec 2018

It is well known that Shah Rukh Khan's next untitled film with Aanand L Rai will be hitting the theatres next Christmas. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.

Talking about Shah Rukh's character in Aanand L Rai's next, it was earlier revealed that he will be paying a double role in the movie.

A source informed Pinkvilla, "While everyone knows that Shah Rukh is playing a dwarf in the film, only the unit and cast know that SRK actually has a double role in the movie. While one of them is a dwarf, the other is an average, regular kind of a common man and he is again played by Shah Rukh. The star will play his usual charming, romantic self in that role as we get to see him sing and dance. Both characters are completely different from each other, strongly performance-oriented and both the leading ladies get a chance to romance SRK. They have equal lengths in the films and hence they signed up for the film. Anushka will romance the normal guy while Katrina will romance the dwarf. It's not an experimental film at all but about friendships and love. Shah Rukh has made a five-minute clip of the film and shown it to some of his close friends in B-Town and all have been raving about it."

Earlier, there were reports that the movie will be clashing with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath. Now, the director has himself confirmed the news saying, 'To all my friends in the media, #kedarnath is on schedule for 21 st dec 2018. #jaibholenath.''

The movie stars Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput in lead roles. The film is set against the backdrop of Uttarakhand floods.

Sara will reportedly be playing the role of an affluent tourist in the film, whereas Sushant will be seen playing the role of a pitthoo.

Talking about box-office clashes, Shah Rukh had earlier said, ''I think whenever you can, it's nicer for both films. If you can't, then you have to release on the same date because when you are looking for alternate dates so that two films don't come on the same day, you request and talk to each other. And mostly what we do on the big ticket films is that since our films are expensive and big, my logic has always been that if it (date change) can be done, it's nice.''

Well, it will be interesting to see the two movies battling it out at the ticket window.
