Naina burning her hand

I have been reading different thoughts on Naina burning her fingers. Just thought I will write down mine too. I completely agree that such scenes shouldn't be encouraged but actually i felt it right at this stage of their relationship. They both have come close only now, Naina has finally felt that Sam likes her too and now after yesterday she wants to share every moment of his life -- his pain, his loneliness everything. She has always been caring about him, now she has become his mother, protective of him, taking care of his needs and wishes to give him everything he has missed till now. She is such a selfless girl, she wants all the world's happiness for him. This is their first small fight I can say after expressing their affection towards each other and if you see Sameer continuously taunts that she wouldn't understand what he is going through, it is his pain not hers as she wasn't the one who faced it. Naina felt his pain but still felt left out as now she wants to share everything of his life, take away every sorrow of his and all she could think of at that time is jump into the same fire as him. As the VO says "Was it madness or obsession" 😆 but it felt so right for that age and felt so right at this stage of their relationship.

That's right... it was an act of immaturity but self inflicted pain just to experience what he is going through is not justified
