The way adhi told his mom, "let me handle Devi my way
Really felt like he's playing with Devi's feelings
I think he's purposely being nice to her so she cares about him
And then when devi admits she's in love with him he'll laugh and say he was pretending
But deep down we'll know that he's falling for her
And then he will fall for her and realize he wasn't pretending
What do you guys think?

My opinion is different. Adhi's statement was more in lines of being protective about Devi. He doesn't hate Devi as much as his Masa does, and because Devi has been so nice to him all along, his sub-conscious as well as conscious mind tells him "that the least he can do for her is stop harming her purposefully"

He knows his Masa wants to punish Devi purposefully out of her hatred, while Adhi doesn't want to do that Devi anymore. Hence "handing Devi his way" indirectly means not hurting Devi unnecessarily.

Adhi is not falling for Devi yet. He is just awestruck by someone being so nice to him despite his harshness towards her.

For Adhi, his mother is his top priority by far, and that is exactly why he will slap Devi during poison drama, because he gets quite blinded in his love for his mother.

For now, Adhi is not playing any games with Devi.

The bigger question is how will Adhi react if he came to know his mother was playing so many games with him. Will he even ever come to know?
