Thoroughly impressed with the vocals in this song! 👍🏼 Hema Sardesai has a magical voice that she's able to exude just as effortlessly in English as she does in Hindi. I'm also impressed with Mishal's vocals although I do sense some autotune in his contribution. 😉 Is it just me or is the melody of this song not up to par with the vocals? 😕 I was expecting something more soothing or more catchy depending on the lyrics. 🤔 I think the music video for this song is a huge let down! Where is the "power of love" in the visualization of this song? All I saw were random people either posing or dancing throughout the song. How does this convey the power of love? The producers were better off depicting a story that would've portrayed the impact of the power of love. I thought we were going to actually see Mishal enact a powerful story while singing his portions of the song. 🤓 If Mishal and Hema were both personally involved in the details of this song, how did they miss the actual message they were trying to express through their music? 😳 I can think of YouTubers that have made much better songs with limited budgets than what Hema, Mishal, and Tony Mercedes have created together. It's shocking that two Grammy award winners worked on this music video because you clearly can't tell from the vision or the message of this song. Perhaps I'm coming off as being harsh in my assessment, but since Mishal seems confused in his focus as an entertainer I think I can take the liberty to be more concise in my feedback. As a music enthusiast, this song failed to make a mark in my opinion for all of its hype of Hollywood and Grammy award winners. It's not something I'd gravitate towards in the future. Mishal again, I'd like to reiterate that you are an actor par excellence! I fail to understand why you aren't taking yourself more seriously as an actor. You could be making waves on the medium of television if only you would choose to work. 💔 Whether your ambitions are to work in Bollywood or Hollywood, my preference will always be to see you on television although I would support you in any character you'd choose to don. You have so much to offer that at times I feel you take the reach and the outlook of television very lightly. Lastly, I'm not a blind fangirl that will support you even when you're not up to the mark in your projects. Whether you value my opinion as your fan or not, I will always be honest. 😊

Nonetheless Mishal, I still wish you a tremendous amount of success in this new journey as a singer. ❤️

I don't usually come here since I stopped following Mishal's career after waiting so long for him during post-Laagi. 😆 But deep down, I never stopped wishing the best for him. It was great so see him back on screen with another soap where he excelled tremendously. Today, Facebook brought me here with my eyes popping out with the news of Mishal being a singer in hollywood. 😃

Mishal has a melodious voice. Even with the auto-tuning, people can tell he can sing well. Hema has a powerful voice. If you don't watch the music video and just listen to the song, you will like it. But once you start watching it, you can not relate "Power of love" as you said. Who asked Mishal to do those unnecessary moves in the video? Lame, very lame. Very bad execution of those powerful lyrics.

Mishal is a wonderful artist, no doubt about that. He is a great actor and has been maintaining his looks so very well. He looks no older than 28. 😆 However, about his choices of projects, I am really confused.

I wish him all the best in whatever project he does in future. and yes, he should sing more often. 😊

Welcome to the forum, Swasti! 🤗 Were you here when IKRS was on air? I don't recall encountering your username before. 😳 You know what, I should probably try listening to the song without the video. Great suggestion! 👍🏼 I know, those dance moves were horrible and the other dancers seemed so out of sync with the actual tune. Were they attempting ballet? 😕 I agree, Mishal looks incredible for his age! He lost quite a bit of weight this year due to a wrist injury, but he's now back in form as handsome as ever. Seeing him in Indonesia back to his old self was such a wonderful surprise! 😊 Please do drop in whenever you can. We're always having interesting discussions here. 😉

Audio again its not bad for sure but i am sure it will not be in my playlist

Loved the lyrics. It is all about positivity and uplifting yourself with love. After all love is your very existence!

Excellently sung by Hemma and Mishal performed pretty good being first time singer.

Could not connect with the picturization though. May be people are trying to free themselves from what is holding them back, I am guessing based on the moves...

Mishal, all the best. Wishing team all the success with this album. So, when is the next song of the album releasing or is it just one song??

DAZZ, I know what you said is all out of Love and respect. After all it is for his own good..😃

a good place & that's the 'Power of Love' from a very dear fan 😃

My thoughts...

So when I first watched this, I got all excited to watch Mishal. He's looking good

& his dance moves are quite cool to watch. I hardly noticed the other dancers 😆

I generally do not watch musical videos & truly did not have much expectations

from this since I do not consider Mishal a singer (at least until now )

I was just very curious to hear him sing.

I was also never aware of this singer Hema Sardesai. Now after listening to her, I think

she has a powerful voice & is amazing in this. Wonderful lyrics.👍🏼

I also felt that Mishal's voice has been auto tuned quite a bit. But overall, he sounds OK

considering this is his first attempt.

I loved his opening ..."Hey..power of love " .❤️

I do get it when you say the entire video (with the people & those dance moves) ...do not

Sync with the song's lyrics or the message that it's trying to convey.

Although, I do think they have tried to potray the message of love thru' diversity, by

including people from different races.

But yes, considering the Grammy award winner producing this, it could

have been much much better. I also feel that Mishal did not have much of a say in

any of this.

Regardless, I think in these times of so much racism & other ills, songs with a

positive message however simple (If not impactful enough) need to be appreciated...

(My personal opinion )

So...

CONGRATULATIONS Mishal on your very first ( HW) single.👏

Wish you continued Success in wherever this takes you...👍🏼

But still hoping & wishing you come back on screen in a Daily 😳

I'm glad we're on the same page, Avani! 😊 Have you seen how many views his videos gotten so far on YouTube? I don't know if it's too early to say, but disappointing numbers indeed. I too hope Mishal's able to accomplish whatever he's been aspiring with this song. 😳

My dear friends, I am somewhat of a view like you. When I saw the video for the first time I was very happy to finally see Mishel in action. The second time I looked, I noticed a lot of illogicality. Mishal has a very bad voice here. Hemma has a strong and strong voice, unlike Mishal. Here, they replaced the roles. Hemma is here male and Mishal is a woman, I speak only because of the voice. As far as his excrement is concerned, he is very much lost.

As for the rest, Dazz is right, and I've been saying that long ago and he's lost somewhere, and now he does not know how to get back on the right path. Mishal, if you read this, know that I have remained on this forum your biggest fans, and we will support you in everything, but you must know that we will criticize you if we do not like something.

The song is beautiful and what I think is the point of this video is that the color of the skin is not important, that everyone needs love because the power of love for all is the same. Perhaps this is a world song and has a very strong message. This is my vision video. If you look this way as I saw her, I'm right. Whether male or female, whether it's a black man or a white man or an Indian, the power of love lies in us all.
