CITY HOSPITAL
Dev was lying on the bed and was connected to lots of wires. Dev was having flashes of Mahek pointing gun on him...n his father saying him "welcome to chakrayuh...and then he had flashes of loosing meera. Dev woke up shouting Meera. Zohra Aapa came to dev
Zohra Aapa-"kya ho gaya dev(and held him by his shoulder)...tu theek hai na??
Dev-"main meera ko nahi bacha paaya...kho diya maine meera ko hamesha ke liye.. and he broke down in-front of Zohra Aapa. Zohra aapa was about to say something when a policeman named Samar came inside
Samar-"dev sir..
Dev-"munim ji aur...(he took a deep breath)..Mahek ke bare mein kuch pata chala..
Samar-"nahi sir...unko trace nahi kar pa rahe hai hum...
Dev(angrily)-"tum ye batane aaye ho mujhe..
Samar-"sir vo actually...bahut ajeeb baat pata chali hai..
Dev-"kya??
samar-"sir actually meera ma'am ki body abhi tak nahi mili hai(a lone tear escaped from dev's eye and he remembered that night)...hame laga ki bomb blast mein(Samar stopped)...but hame koi traces bhi nahi mile...
Zohra Aapa(looked at samar)-"beta, tum baad mein aake dev se baat kar lena..
Samar-"ji and he went from there.
Dev-"agar uss din mera pyaar mujh par haavi na hua hota toh aaj main Meera ke maut ka badla le chukka hota
FLASHBACK
Mahek pointed gun on Dev. Dev was literally shocked as he had never imagined it in his dreams.
Dev-"Ma..Mahek tum ye...
Mahek-"haan main...main iss chakrayuh ka ek ahem hissa hun...aur tumhe fasane mein toh mera hi haat hai...i think you remember it... dev fully turned to Mahek
Dev-"mahek tumne mujhe dhokha diya...a lone tear escaped from his eyes. Mahek removed the gun from his head and slided her index finger down his cheeks.
Mahek-"don't act like this dev...tumhare upar gussa hi suit karta hai.. dev held her hand and jerked her hand off
Dev-"meera mujhse humesha kehti rahi ki main tumpe bharosa na karun...par main.. mahek cut him off
Mahek-"par tum dimaag se nahi dil se soch rahe thein...aur yehi thi tumhari sabse badi galti...agar tum dimaag se sochtey toh shayad aaj humara ye plan pura nahi hota...maine tumhe meri ek dukh bhari kahani batayi aur tumne uss par bharosa kar liya..(mahek moved little forward such that her back was facing dev's front) jantey ho dev...tum kbhi bhi iss chakrayuh ka hissa nahi thein par jab...hume pata chala ki tum jaane anjaane iss chakrayuh ka hissa ban chuke ho toh...main tumhari zindagi mein aa gyi...(she turned to dev and pointed gun on him)...so ab jab tum saari sachaai jaan chuke ho toh tumhe marna hoga and she was about to shoot when dev kicked at her arm but she escaped from the attack and fired on dev on his shoulder and in his stomach. He fell down on the ground. He slowly closed his eyes remembering the moments he shared with his family which doesn't included Mahek.
Munim ji-"mahek check mar gaya na... and mehak was about to check when they heard the sound of police siren and they immediately left from there.
