Anyone else think that SLB, Deepika must also take blame for the mess?

They instigated ppl for long time, almost a year, now it backfires.

SLB wants to clash with another big movie with maximum hype to gain back the huge investment. All this mess was calculated to stoke maximum fire. Unfortunately some of it may have not proved to be that conducive. Some of it is backfiring. Will Padmavati take Jan 2018 date or will it aim for Christmas? Any thing away from that period and it will lose the edge it has right now... 😊

Two days ago, my father requested someone who lives near our building to not park in his parking space. The person in question went to attack my father with a hammer and bricks. This is when my father was politely requesting the other person. Not fighting, arguing or screaming even.

My God, i really thought India hada future, a true secular nation, respecting everyone, but I was so wrong , there is no progress, only regression. This was Intolerance Part II. There was absolutely no need to generalise an entire nation like this but she stupidly did it. So now not only the Rajputs were upset, the Nationalists (and there's hundreds of millions of them) were upset too.

SLB has had many, many, many months to correct the "dream sequence" nonsense. There could have easily been a consultation with Rajput groups with representatives from the Rajput community to ensure there is no uproar. There is nothing out of the ordinary with this, it's a sensitive subject. Lots of movies have "historical consultants".

Any moron who says "Padmavati is just fictional" is a fool. She has meaning to millions, she is an inspiration to millions and any distortion of her story, of even a hint of it, would cause an uproar. Use some bloody common sense.

I'm 100% certain there's nothing wrong with the movie but these two idiots, alongside the other morons, have soured what could have been a great movie.

The team of SLB and Deepika herself are getting threats on a very public platform and so much so that they're in international media and the government isn't doing anything to curb it. Forget the government, the sheer ability to give any person or any political party so much power that they can, in the general media, threaten people with bounties, handicap and murder is sickening.

Sorry to say, but with all that's in the media, and all that's going on around us in our daily lives... If we aren't regressing, what are we?

And I'm not even generalizing... A single post made on Amy platform is met with pseudointellectuals threatening, shaming, harassing, degrading and threatening sexual harassment. We hate on each other based on language, religion, caste, food habits, education and social status. Forget freedom, hardly anyone has the ability to post or say anything without someone else perfecting their keyboard warrior skills.

Why are we giving any right to any sect to dictate what is consumed in terms of media and films? And with sickening remarks as quoting time mentioned that a film should be made (May Allah and Mary forgive me for saying this)... But how the hell can you ask for a film to be made on Allah romancing a pig or a film on Mary losing her virginity? How is that the same sentiment? How is it okay to make such comparisons?

When SLB, Viacom and every media outlet has been clarifying from day one that there are no scenes between Khilji and Padmavati whatsoever.

What we have here is hooligans wanting their two minutes of fame whilst dragging the Rajput name and a film worth cores into their mess... And certain sects of government in power that are empowering this. And if that isn't sickening, I don't know what is.
