Change of tune. Looks like he finally understands the concept? 😆
Live-in relationships?
There's a word for it marriage. Why not just get married? I don't understand the concept of live-in relationships.

Well, true, but there are many who change their views about these things over time. 😆

I agree with him. Live-in relationships are so similar minus the legal benefits. You can be just as intimate and close to the person as you would be were you to be married. And just like how marriages break up, so do live in relationships except there isn't the financial burden of getting a divorce.
Personally, while I believe it is everyone'e own choice, I think people should test out live-in relationships prior to getting married. Living with and dating someone are so drastically different and you should see if you can be happy living before spending a fortune on a wedding [esp indian weddings cost an arm and a leg] and then a divorce if things don't work out. Though already know my parents wouldn't let that fly 😆

A lot of ppl seem to think that marriage is synonymous to compromise and I know that I can't live my entire life with someone just compromising all the way.🤔

Tell me something. Aren't we all mortal? Ek din hum sab marr hi toh jayenge. LOL! So what is this compromise? You can compromise and stay single also and have fun 😆 I don't see the point. Personally I'd rather stay single (and learn to enjoy solitude) than marry someone I am not in love with or don't have any connection with. I only compromise for love...as in I love the person to death and have a strong connection and I want to stay with the person because he/she makes my day and makes me happy and all of that good stuff...then compromise is worth it! On my death bed, I can tell myself, it was worth it! 😆
I know many people stay married for kids etc but I just think of the day I am going to die...and telling myself...oh I stayed for the kids! It makes my heart ache thinking about it! 😆 But then I am a romantic at heart. My personal finances are in good standing. Easy to say :-)
