Rudra and Sowmya were giving me goofy grins, even as I chided them, I couldn't help but blush at the idea of going on a date with my Kara.
"Very sanskari, huh, you two. Going on first proper date only after engagement.

I ignored Rudra and Sowmya as I began try my luck at looking perfect for our date.
"Omkara, this doesn't look like place that is meant for first date. I said sceptically walking beside him into an old, damaged building.
"Shh... Gauri, patience he admonished as he took me inside a dangerously deserted room, best suit for horror movies.
"What is ... I couldn't even complete my sentence as I saw centre of the room occupy beautifully decorated table with candle light and rest of the room holding candles.
"Did you like it? Om asked unsure. I turned to look at Om and passed a smile, "Beautiful, Om. How did you do all this?
"Shivay and Rudra scolded me for making the proposal absurd. So, I thought... he trailed off.
He bit the side of the lips anticipating my reaction. I couldn't help but smile at his cute expression. Sometimes he doesn't seem like the hot tempered and callous Oberoi that he portrays to be. He looks like a small kid untainted by the darks of world. Times like these, when he looks at me like that I couldn't help but fall for this long haired man. He gasped, looked unsure as if he was not expecting me to confess first. I am sure Rudra would have fed him with steps of proposal from books and movies. But, conventional traditions don't matter to me, to us. All that matters is that he cares for my happiness and I love him.

Later, hours later, on our way back home.
"But, I don't understand why that deserted building and not a restaurant. I asked curiously
"Rudra said it should be somewhere private. He said shrugging
"Means you can book the whole restaurant, not you taking me to a place from a horror movie. I said shaking my head.
"That is not private, Gauri. There will be waiters in the restaurant. Lots of light and eyes. Defenitely not private.
I burst out laughing at his cute explanation. "You are impossible. I mumbled.
@tasnimrodela - Dear how much ever I try I am not able to make this Omkara propose in a extravagant way. It is out of his character. So, as I promised some other story.
