"You can't leave me, we've a daughter." She cried holding his collar tightly.

"Swati, leave me.. It's over between you and me.. I love Naina and I'm going to stay with her." The guy pushed her hard that he fall on floor and her head hit by the table. She saw her husband leaving when she took out the gun from the drawer and fired in the air.

"If you go out from this room, I'll kill myself Amaan." She said pointing the gun on her head.

"Swati, don't... Don't be so childish..! Give the gun to me." He said taking slowly steps towards his wife.

"No.. Amaan you tell me, you won't leave us.."

The couple was arguing over the topic when a 7years old girl walked in calling "Mumma.."

Hearing daughter's voice, she gets distract and taking this advantage he tried to take the gun from her hand, and she struggled when suddenly they heard the shot. The little girl saw her mother fall on floor.

"Maa...!!!" She woke up in the middle of the night seeing that fateful night in her dreams. She was sweating badly when tears rolled out from her eyes. She took the photo frame of her mother from the table and hugged it tightly, "I miss you ma.".

Next morning, she woke up and found herself hugging the photo frame, she caressed the photo with a smile, "Good morning Annika." She said to herself.

"Annika...?" She heard her masi called.

"Coming.." She quickly went to get fresh and walked down to join her masi at the breakfast table.

"Good morning masi.." She greeted.

"Good morning.. See..! Who came to meet you early." Her masi said eyeing towards a person.

Annika walked towards the chair to see the person's face when the person scared her wearing a mask on his face. "Aaahhh..." She shouted getting scared.

"Hahaha.. Look at her masi, the lion becomes coward." He laughed.

"Daksh.. You.." She gave him deadly glare while he continue laughing. "I.. I'll not leave you." She searched for some weapon when she grabbed a fork from the spoon set and chased behind him. "Annie, i'll get hurt yaar." Daksh said while running all over the room.

"I don't care." She chased him.

As their cute fight continue, Annika's masi received a call and gets upset as well as shocked which Annika noticed. "Masi..?" She walked to her. "What happened?"

"Annika.. Woh.." She felt hesitation.

"What? Who called you?"

"Your pa..." She paused as he saw Annaika's changing behavior. "I mean Mr Amaan Kapoor."

"Why did he suddenly call you?" She asked furious. "Oh.. I get it.. Is he called you to know whether I'm alive or not..? Then he must be get upset to know this." She sarcastically said.

"Annika..! What rubbish are you talking?" Her masi yelled.

"So what else should I say masi..? In this 18 years, he never talked to me, though I nver bothered or cared whether he called me or not because in this entire world if I hate someone the most then it must be he.. After ma's death she send me here why? so, he can get married to that woman. I know, he is happy then why is he suddenly called you?" She cried while remembering her past.

"Annika, at least listen to masi once." Daksh said as he noticed masi tried to say something.

"No Daksh, I don't want to listen anything please." Saying this she ran upstairs crying.

Annika was crying bitterly in her room when Daksh walked in and sat beside her on the floor, Annika once looked at her and said, "You know Daksh, how much I try to forget that night but I never succeed. from last 18 years there wasn't a single night when I woke up having that incident in my dream. He was my superhero but that one night everything snatched from me." She cried.

"Annika shh.." He pacified her while wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"I know that was an accident, he didn't wish to kill her but whenever I remember mumma's face, I feel like for him she left us forever."

"Annika, you have overcome from your past. I know you still love your papa but that incident taking you away from him. Annika, from this 18 years, he never wished to see you so as you but now ehn he's taking step ahead, don't step back." As Daksh said Annika looked at him balnk.

"Uncle called masi.. to invite you for Tia's wedding."

"NO..! I don't want to face him. NO.." She stated.

"But Annie.."

"I said NO Daksh." She said furious and ran out from her room, Daksh followed her but seeing Annika going out her masi stopped Daksh saying, "Let her stay alone for sometime."

Annika was driving the car harshly while crying as she reminisced her past as how her father get married with another woman after her mother's death and then they send her to her aunt's house. Suddenly a truck came from opposite side and to control over the car, she hit the car on the tree but thankfully she didn't get hurt. She sighed taking a deep breath, just when her phone rang, she smiled. "Dadi.." She smiled amidst her tears while receiving the call.

"Annika, puttar how are you?"

"I'm fine dadi.." She replied with shaky voice.

"Puttar, are you crying?" She asked worried.

"No dadi.." She said wiping her tears. "You tell me, I heard Tia's wedding fixed."

"Yes and that's why I called you."

"Pa.." She paused, "I mean Mr Kapoor asked you to call me?" She asked straight.

"Do you think so? Can't I call my grand-daughter?"

"No dadi, don't take me wrong.. Actually.." But before Annika could say her dadi said, "I know Amaan called your masi and asked you to attend the wedding but I know you won't come right?" Annika didn't say anything. "Puttar, I know you still not forgive your father but in all this, what was my fault? Don't you wish to visit me? In this 18 years, I never seen you direct, we talked via video calls, even Amaan never wished to call you here but now when he asked, I wanted you to come here." Dadi said.

"Dadi, it's not possible. Please.." She tried to convince her dadi.

"It was my wish, now rest upto you. If you love your dadi, you'll definitely listen." I'll wait for you puttar." Saying this she hang up the call and didn't let Annika say anything.

Mumbai,

"Thank you Daksh for helping me to come here." Annika said over the phone once she walked out from the airport.

"It's okay Annie. Anything for you. I know you wanted to come here, I just helped you."

"I just came here for dadi. I'll leave the city on the very next day of Tia's wedding." She said.

"Anyways you enjoy there. I'll call you later." Saying this Daksh cut the call while Annika called a cab to reach at her destination.

Oberoi mansion,

"Shivaay, try to understand." Tej said furious.

"What? What should I understand? That you guys fixed my marriage with Tia Kapoor so that you can explore your business..!" Shivaay asked back.

"It's good for our industry Shivaay." Shakti calmly said.

"... And what about Shivaay's happiness chotey papa?" Omkara entered in the room asking.

"They really don't care about it Om." Shivaay replied.

"But you and Tia can be a good couple. Tia is modern, smart, intelligent.." Tej tried to convince.

"But I don't love her. Yeah, some times we hang out together but that doesn't mean we should get married right?" Shivaay asked.

"Shivaay listen to me.. Look our company has already invested a huge amount in this deal and Mr Kapoor helping us to get the deal, but he has a condition..." Tej said.

"That I've to marry Tia."

"Yeah.."

"Fine." Shivaay said.

"What are you saying Shivaay?" Omkara asked shocked.

"Relax Om.. You didn't hear, it's profitable for our company." Shivaay looked on smiling while Omkara left the room angrily.

"I knew it Shivaay.."

"... But I've a condition." Shivaay said.

Kapoor house,

"Tia, your wedding card, look.. It's so beautiful." Mrs Kapoor showed her the card making her shocked.

"Wedding card..?"

"Yeah Tia.. We fixed your marriage with Shivaay."

"WHAT..! Have you lost your mind mom?" Tia yelled.

"Relax Tia.. Relax.." Mrs Kapoor calm her daughter and dragged her from there.

"Mom.. What.." But before Tia could say Mrs Kapoor said, "Tia.. You're getting married with Shivaay. The Shivaay Singh Oberoi.. And it's just a part of business deal."

"Deal..?" Tia looked on shocked.

"Listen to me carefully Tia..." And Mrs Kapoor told her something on which she replied, "Okay mom.. I'm ready to marry him."

"That's like my good girl.."

Annika was recalling her childhood days while traveling to her house when finally she felt a jerk on her body. "Madam your house..!"

Annika looked at the huge mansion and after paying the money, she stepped out from the cab. She walked through the huge gate and passed by the garden when she recalled here's memories with her mother. With teary eyes, she finally entered in the mansion and saw the hustle bustle ongoing inside. Her eyes roamed all over the hall when she saw her father sitting, Annika's face beamed with happiness as after 18 years she saw him.

Feeling a gaze on him, Mr Kapoor looked at her.. "Yes..? Who..?"

"Annika, puttar you..!" Dadi said from behind.

Hearing Annika's name, Mr Kapoor smiled happily asked he reminisced the little Annika who used to be her papa's princess - now she grown up.. Mr Kapoor looked at her toe to head. "Annika.." He hissed her name happily.

Annika smiled and walked to them but she approach to her Dadi, leaving here's father shocked. He felt hurt.

"How are you dadi..?" Annika asked after taking blessing.

"I've seen you, now I'm fine." She said caressing her face.

"Dad, who's this girl?" Tia asked once she came there.

"Puttar.. She's Annika, your.."

"Oh..! My step sister. Right? Yeah..! Dad told about you. Nice to meet you Annika." Annika didn't like the word 'Step sister' but composed herself and gave her a slight smile.

After Tia left, Dadi said, "Puttar don't mind, Tia is..."

"It's okay dadi.. After all she will learn what her parent will teach her." She said eyeing Mr Kapoor who left from there without saying anything.

"Thank you for coming here Annika." Dadi said on the way to escorting her in her room.

"Don't be so thankful dadi.. I know I did unfair with you. I know you genuinely love me but I never visited you.." Annika said looking down.

"It's okay puttar. Now I'm happy and I know this trip will definitely change your view towards your father."

"That will not possible. I still believe it, for him, ma isn't with us today." Annika said with teary eyes but she needed to be strong, so quickly wiped her tears and smiled but her dadi could sense how badly she's broken from inside, so she hugged her assuring, "Everything will be fine puttar."
