Somewhere there's a little bit of 'Secret Superstar' in me!

I just recently saw this movie over the weekend and instantly fell in love with the movie! The concept was amazing & I guess I loved it more because I could relate so much to the main character and her passion for singing. Of course my situation is not at the extreme level like shown in the movie, but the whole basic concept of kids having a talent, wanting to pursue their talent, but parents don't want them to go down that path because it is not looked upon well is a totally relatable feeling for me too! But the movie's message is so beautiful!! Education is so important in today's world too though! One should never give up getting an education no matter what. It saddens me when I read or hear stories about people giving up their education for something else whether it be career or something else. Being able to afford going to school is such a privilege that unfortunately not everyone gets. I loved how at the end she thanked her mother and gave her all the credit in the world --- another valuable life lesson that we are who we are because of who our parents made us to be. I look back at my past when I got the opportunity to audition for SRGMP, but I couldn't make it beaches of school. Looking back, I was so devastated. I blamed my parents as they are the ones who told me I couldn't miss school for that. Now today when I think about that, they were so right. There will always be future opportunities if you keep the door open.

Anyways anyone else love this movie? Aamir's character was so different. Haha. But it was interesting seeing him in a different kind of role. Hats off for such a fabulously made movie! :)

Basic education Is a must now.. atleast Bachelors.
