He woke up with a smile on his face.

Perhaps having love in his life at last was what he needed more than anything.

He stretched as he thought about his biwi.

Rushing through his morning rituals, he found himself at her door.

Surprisingly it was open and there was no sign of her.

"Geet", he walked through the empty space shocked to see the closet open where her clothes

had been.

His heart raced in fear.

Where was she?

He looked around the top floor not seeing his parents there either.

Where was everybody?

He yelled for Nakul but there was no answer.

Sliding hurriedly past the study his heart raced as he saw his parents there.

Both of them looked like they had aged twenty years overnight.

"Dad? Mom?" he asked.

A tear escaped Kiran's eyes and he followed her eyes to the study table.

Seeing the pictures on the table he approached them.

The slit wrists, the blood gushing out, a pale Pari and a crying baby stared out from them.

Maan swallowed as tears poured from his eyes.

He had never wished bad for her despite his pain.

To see Pari like this hurt his heart painfully.

A letter accompanied the contents of the manila envelope and his father silently handed it to

him.

He ignored the letter and asked, "Geet kaha hai?"

A/N: So aa gai judaai?
