Hi,

I am just a reader in this forum. I have never posted anything. Today, I just strongly felt like sharing my thoughts.
You are right in few points. I respect your perspective. But I do have some points to put forward.

Regarding Bhanushali family:
Fine. The explanation you gave is understandable. But still I feel they are being very very unfair to Parth. It has been just 2 months he lost his wife whom he loves dearly. Wouldn't he need at least few more months and years to get over it? How are they imposing marriage decision on him? Shouldn't he be emotionally ready for that? Doesn't he have right on his own life decisions? It takes lot of time to heal. I have never seen any widow/widower marrying within 2-3 months to another person. And to take care of tunnu is not a valid reason. Tunnu is not going to remember anything till he turns 2-3 years. Teni or family can take care of him. They can at least give time to Parth and then talk about his re-marriage just when Tunnu is about to get to school going age. Moreover there are hundreds of widowers who take care of children all alone. This big family with dada, dadi, pardada, pardadi and many more can't take care for 1-2 years? He is not even born and Parth is being harassed for that. They need to understand and empathize with Parth.

Regarding Parth:
I agree. He did few stupid steps out of negligence but ultimately he was always clear about Shorvori's importance in his life.

Regarding Shorvori:
Yes, she is selfless. I agree. But, she too can't impose her decisions on him without knowing what he actually wants. She is always way too over confident about her plans. But, did she think of something? The day Teni will show that video to Parth, how exactly would he feel? How would he hate himself, how would he hate Teni? How can she think he will forgive Teni? She is just complicating their relationship. Instead it would have been nice if she simply tells Teni to be nice to him after she leaves the world without doing all this drama. That would not give Parth a reason to repel from Teni even after knowing truth.

Regarding Teni:
This girl confuses me. Sometimes I feel she is good. But the next day she does something or the other that irks me or confuses me. She keeps on telling Shorvori 'Let's say to Parth'. She knows Shorvori would deny. But if Parth is himself on the way to find out, she stops him from knowing it. I don't understand if she really wishes Parth should know the truth or not. If she wished he should know the truth and is not saying just because she promised Shor, she need not switch off the lights when he dashed Shorvori or she need not warn Shorvori that Parth is coming to her hotel room. If she wished he shouldn't know because just like Shorv she can't see him broken, she shouldn't have told Shorvori 'Main ab bhi bolti hu Parth ko bata dete hain'. It just appears as if she is wanting to be good both before Shorvori and parivaar. Even after Aman's fiasco(many things irritated me about her back then), there are many incidents where this girl's behavior confuse me or irritate me. For instance, yesterday tying blouse knots. She had so many ladies in the house but she wanted Parth to tie them saying Shorv used to do it when she is there. Come on, Shorvori is a woman. Parth isn't. And after Indu and baa came there, this ladki didn't ask them to help her in getting ready or tie knots. If it was so unreachable, why couldn't she ask Indu? All this 'make me ready' things come with Parth. I hate this behaviour of hers. On one end, she blackmails Parth to marry her on saying of Shorv. On this end, she says Indu not to blackmail him. She projects herself as too sweet in front of Indu and everyone.

Very well written post with valid points 👏 After reading it, I realized it more how confusing Teni gets at times. Earlier she was thinking to herself that if she will be able to become bahu of Bhanushali house or not, and yesterday in front of family she was talking about being a friend to Parth always.. Don't know if it is inconsistency in writing or Teni's attempt to pretend to be good in front of everyone.

@ Rashmi Thankyou for the acknowledgement. Both Parth and Shourvari have shown great warmth in their relationship with Teni. Shourvari while lying in hospital bed pleaded toTeni for forgiveness, for casting aspersions and hurling slurs on her relationship with Parth. Her confession that she staged the entire controversy to sow hatred for herself in Parth's heart, reflects her unconditional love for her husband and in laws. Shourvari's wisdom is unquestionable. Had she got a slightest of doubt on Teni, she wouldn't have made the effort to seek her pardon.
The show has got its own flaws. If they had to unite the surrogate with the client, firstly they shouldn't have shown her developing soft feelings for him. Secondly, had Shourvari been instrumental in selecting the surrogate, the alleged relationship of Parth and Teni shouldn't have been making the headlines. Because of her love for Parth and warmth for Teni, Shourvari wished to abdicate her position for the surrogate so that her baby and husband shouldn't lead an incomplete life. Had Teni been unknown to Parth, she would not have subjected herself for insinuations. It is due to her feelings for Parth, Teni is being labelled as an opportunist that she made deliberate attempts to hide Shourvari's secret from Parth and that she has been dubious in her intentions. There is a general feeling that she is rejoicing in her heart, finally her dream to unite with the love of her life is soon to get realised. Though nowhere she has been demonstrated as jubilant in her thoughts, prejudices are having a killing affect on Teni. She is in fact a victim as she has been subjected to unnecessary torture and harassment to her mind. If she was non committal towards Shourvari's promise, she could have been accused of breach of trust. In any of the circumstances she had to bear the brickbats.
The purity in the relationship between PaRi and Teni has got contaminated the moment it is being seen only as a man -woman relationship from worldly perspective.

@Sheena, I don't mean to say Teni's attempts are deliberate. She may not be plotting the whole thing so as to keep Shorvori's secret hidden from Parth, but she is certainly at fault for hiding it. And for sure, unknowingly her feelings for Parth have a role to play in that. If it wasn't Parth, I don't think she would have ever agreed to do all this. She may not be openly rejoicing in her heart that she will be getting married to Parth in future, but has she ever been sad about it? (compared to her sadness when she was getting married to Aman). Has she ever said once that she doesn't want to marry Parth but is doing so, to keep Shorvori's promise like she was saying at the time of Aman??

Coming to the promise, as it has been discussed several times already, no promise is bigger than a person's life. So being committed to Shorvori's promise can't be an excuse to justify Teni's actions. Shorvori chose to die alone silently so that her near and dear ones don't suffer after her death, and Teni let that happen despite having a chance to avoid it.. I don't think any sane person would have accused Teni of breaching the promise, had she convinced Shorvori to tell everything to Parth or had told it to Parth herself.. She didn't do it because of her dilemma, and that dilemma somewhere comes from the fact that she has feelings for Parth, probably unknowingly.

@ Rashmi, Firstly, the writers didn't initiate to develop the story with an intention to unite Parth and Teni. So, PaRi's bonding has been illustrated in a manner that not even gravest of misunderstanding can make a dent in their relationship. Any crack was possible only If PaRi themselves wish for someone as their own substitute. Shourvari's character demonstrates morality of high standards. Her deed is to be understood as a sacrifice, for she wanted her family to be happy. . Teni genuinely had concerns for Parth and his family, which shouldn't be felt otherwise. Therefore she thought it fit to uphold Shourvari's promise. She maintained her truth as secret. Some may consider Teni to be immature. Earlier , understanding Parth's attitude towards her, she very well realised, PaRi's unflinching bond, and tried to restrain her feelings for him. Several times we saw her repeating in her thought that Shourvari is the sole occupant in Parth's heart..
No doubt, a pertinent question can be raised before the makers that if they are showcasing Teni as innocent then why they didn't show her disclosing the truth to Parth. One may also misunderstand her as a sole beneficiary with Shourvari's departure, as she has been depicted in the situation. Throughout the track she has been shaky and confused. However the allegations are on the basis of circumstances. In the absence of any evidence she can't be considered guilty. Providence would only decide whether she has been a victim of the situation, or she is truly guilty.
