I know this may not sound feasible as for that many people believe that Sharanya will have to die but is there a rule where it says that if a couple involving a ghost and human were to end up together, the condition for them to be the end game should be the result of the human partner's death? What if the Ghost decides to start a new life as a human by becoming a walk in soul?
For those who don't know what a walk in soul is, it's basically a phenomenon where the soul of a given body has accomplished its goals and no longer feels the need to remain in the physical or in short wants to exit the living body but without harming it or causing it's demise which it does by forming contracts with some other wandering soul who agrees to occupy the body once its left vacant by the previous soul and starts living a new life in that particular body...
If the writers consider this option then Shiv also has a chance with Sharanya i.e. only if he really loves her and is not the typical cliched evil spirit introduced in the story just for the sake of horror and scare...
