Mmmmph it's a bit like Hum Dil De Chukhe Sanam anyway. Prachi's first love is carefree, fun and sweet but she marries a man who is serious and intense. She marries out of duty but eventually she learns to respect and then later love her husband. Of course, though never in a million years would Milind have flown with Prachi to Italy and then meekly hand her over to Neev. 😆And both stories feature really strong father figures.
