The only day I got to stay home to study for my midterm, they decided to throw a 'dil-bighladene-wala' , non-rushed and calculated scene and chase away my ever-so-focused brain that was only thinking about the interrelation between parathyroid hormones and osteoporosis until yesterday ...
Am I complaining? Huh, You wish😆
What a tremendously blissful scene they conceptualized, directed and presented to end the tiny 'old-age-insecurity' track and what a spectacular performance by Nakuul and Surbhi!! Shivay was the Mr. perfect to the T in terms of a better half today, and it felt like he crawled into the skin of the husband every girls dream about.
From the way he just appeared in the back, decided to ask for permission before sitting (why is so cute?!😳), and then sat without even waiting for her reply (Such a shivay thing to do LOL😆), recieved a uninterested look from Anika as she threw her "maine bola aapko beethne ke liye?😳" to which he decided to pull off a face 10 times dapper than his already flawless expressions and responded with full tadi "Na bhi to nahi kaha tha😎"
🤣 This guy!!!
I loved the smooth transition from being so nonchalant and witty to being guilt-ridden and apologetic within a matter of second as he took her hand into his and softly uttered an 'I'm sorry, Anika!'. The apology looked so genuine, intuitive, and natural.
"To aab apko kaise samajh mein aya"
"Bhavya ne samjhaya"
Did anyone else noticed how easily it just rolled off his tongue that he was at fault and that it was with an external help that he was able to realize he was unconsciously hurting her. The little desperation that reflected on his face with the need to apologise and see the hurt wash away from her... It's been so long since we have been witnessing this changed shivay but I still can't help comparing him to the old SSO. He indeed has come a long LONG way!
His elaboration on the saying "age is just a number", with the little promises of "Ishbaaaz never gets old in the heart. Our eyesight might get weak as we grow old but we would never need glasses to read each other... We might have muffled hearing in our old age but our heartbeat would be as loud and clear to each other as it is now" he made were so pure and so real. Anika just stared at him as though she was hypnotized by his words. She was in awe, so was I!
Such powerful words!!
Scriptwriter did an Ah-mazing job today. Take a bow!!👏
He gave her a tiny trip to their future as his words gave her a visual of how euphoric their lives are gonna be as they step into their old age' where having each other will be there only support. That they are making the memories right now to cherish in the future. That their 'jawani' is like a box of colorful hues that they are sealing and treasuring to open, relive, cherish, laugh about, shed a few tears on and most importantly, paint their 'budhapa' with the blissful strokes of the moments they shared in their youth days.
And LOL Shivay got back to his 'self-obsession-sessions' 🤣 It took Anika a moment to digest the sudden transformation and her expression cracked me up. She must be like: Matlab, ekdam chun ke husband choose ki hai maine
But this bit of the flirt Shivay took the spotlight. Such a perfect shot

And who would believe that these two are merely doing a part of their job by ACTING as husband and wife. I mean, from which angle do they NOT look like actual husband and wife?! Like whaaa?!

Love,
Mushfika
