Having 20+ Total Career HIT Count is very rare, from past Only Amitabh Bachchan & Dharmendra have achieved this mark.

From Current ones, we have only 4 Superstars who have managed this achievement.

Ranking is based on Star giving much bigger HITs [Ajay is ranked above Akshay as he has given Bigger Openings, Hits & Grossers]

Shouldn't you be doing percentage instead of counts?? Aamir has done much lesser movies compared to Akshay and others so obviously his HIT count is going to be less...How many does he have anyways...I think percent of hits and not the number of hits should be the criterion...considering that Aamir has the top 2 biggest hits ...it is unfair that he is not in this list...percent or numbers...the rest 4 look fine to me👍🏼

It's like saying A & B both scored 80 in the test so they are equal..point you forget is A got 3 hrs to solve the paper & B got only 1 hour...

Salman & Akshay have done MANY more movies than SRK!!!

Where is the ratio taken into account...

How about the flip side? Flop & disasters?

Where would you invest a stock which keeps alternating between the highest high & the lowest low...or a stock which gives regular returns with a high almost as much as the peak & a low much higher than others' lows???

it does not matter if you take full time to solve paper or less time 😆 even most of time people say take your full time dnt be in hurry 😛😉 jaldwaji main aksar banda galti kar deta hai 😆

Aamir Khan debut in 1988, before Salman, Srk, Ajay & Akki,. By the time TOH will release, it will be 30 years for him to be in Industry. If For 3 Decades, Aamir could only get 16 Clean HIT films, it ain't others fault, that is his in-ability to give more Hits on regular interval. He has taken 4-5 years long break, why should he get the benefit of doing less films?

Giving Highest Grosser doesn't make you superior, if that is the sole criteria then Varun will be bigger than Akshay & if Golmaal Again pushes 200 cr mark & finish at 210 cr, Ajay will be higher than Srk for giving higher grosser. Aamir do have top 2 highest grossers, but he doesn't have that stardom or volume of work to speak for.

Why to write essay on this thing, my thread doesn't deny or prove that Srk's ratio is smaller. I made a thread on count, you could make 1 on ratio.

Ratio wise Srk lead: HIT/Films

1. Srk = 27/64 = 42%

2. Salman = 27/74 = 36%

3. Akki = 27/112 = 24%

4. Ajay = 22/94 = 23%

Despite leading in Hit Ratio, Srk isn't suppose to Rank higher due to Lesser Bigger Openings, Hits & Grosser than Salman.

As i said in earlier post, doing less films doesn't make you superior. Your example of one getting 1 hr to do paper doesn't fit here. SRK also debut along with Akki & Ajay, if they can do more films, why didn't Srk did more films, nobody was stopping him or wasn't given films to do (time restriction).

Srk if wanted could have done more films, it would have been unfair if Hrithik is brought into comparison with above 4 who debut almost a Decade after them. There you could say duration in Industry is less.

HSSH was panned by critics to being overly saccharine

Chak De was considered a flop

Ready was bashed for it's poor storyline and acting

And there's so many more...

Unless they've "matured" to be classics (read: kagaz ke phool)

Never go by what Media or Internet savvy audience write about films. Paying Audience always decide the ultimate fate of the films.

Sholay & Don when released back then were panned by critics, even for 1st Week, they were doing dull business, later on audience WOM spread & they turned out to be BIG HITs.

HSSH has run packed houses in interiors, single screens. Chak de wasn't promoted like big yrf, it worked out on WOM. Ready was entertainer, opened big & audience loved it to make it Blockbuster.

Only audience verdict matters, sometimes audience is also wrong, which is realized when some Flop films turned out to be CULT CLASSIC when they are on TV/VIDEO repeat runs. Like Agneepath(Big B), Andaz Apna Apna & Shaan.

Well this ranking is more like who has scored most numbers of centuries in International Cricket, many have more centuries than Don, does not mean they are better. But in a list of most centuries, we cannot squeeze in Don .

Mind you that does not mean this list gives clear picture of who is the bigger star, but in a way celebrates the achievement.

Obviously Ajay and Akki are not bigger star than Aamir, SRK/Sally can at least be argued, and you have to be a spastic of the highest order to consider Ajay a bigger star because of Golmaal and Secret Superstar Clash, because anyone with brain knows SS is not a movie of amir Khan, the star. But it is a fact that they have more hits in thier tally, that is a statistical fact. Cannot be changed. Yes Aamir might have a better ratio, but that is another list.

Actually it's not about the number of hours, it's about the number of attempts😛 there's more privilege passing in the first attempt rather than in the fourth😆
