I still think Talaash is Aamir's best movie post-TZP. It was such an awesome mystery. Sure, you could call the twist from a mile away, but it held my attention like no Hindi movie has this decade. It was riveting. If anything, I think it's one of the most underrated movies in recent memory.

Re: Tubelight

The problem never was Salman - even if he wasn't good in the movie. Tubelight was a movie that Kabir/Salman made to ensure another BB. The original itself was poor, so why would anyone in their right mind remake it? And even if you do, you'd much rather cast someone else in the role of a man-child. Salman just didn't suit the role. And Tubelight was an outright disaster (the movie). It's not like it had any saving grace.

If Jai Ho was a mistake, and it was, Tubelight was a cardinal sin. Both movies were awful, but Tubelight was just shit and it's because Kabir and Salman thought that they could milk the BB hangover all over. If Salman wanted to work in meaningful cinema, there were many, many other avenues. Tubelight was greed; and thank f**k it tanked.

You are very particular to pick things about Salman, Ajay & Srk films, but completely ignores things for Aamir?

1. Srk & Ajay doesn't have clean hit for 3-4 years (Despite Golmaal Again on chase for 200 Cr)?? LMAO, ya sure, Ppl went to see Shreyas Talpade who gave ATBB Poster Boys recently 😆 In this way, in this decade, Aamir has failled to give even a SINGLE HIT Without Xmas & 3 years gap between 3 Idiots & Dhoom 3.

2. Aamir has gems like - Dhobhi Ghat, Talaash & now Secret Superstar to his credit. SS is on the course of getting Below Average verdict, may be Average. So, in total, 1 Below Average Dhobhi Ghat, 1 Semi-hit Talaash, 1 Below Average Secret Superstar... but but but ... they aren't Aamir films? They were not suppose to do good on box office, oh ok so a Star who has a No.1 Throne at Box Office as per you comes with these kind of films regularly which is having same kind of fate as other big stars have like Jai Ho & Tubelight, but bechara Aamir Khan hai, please spare him.

3. By the time Aamir gives a Hit film from his previous films, Salman gives Blockbuster/ATBB withing that time frame. Without Xmas, without ETP he hasn't crossed 10 cr on a Single Day & we talking about his box office 😆

4. Aamir Khan's pre-ghajini Box Office dekh lena so that u would get an idea how much big star Aamir Khan who debut before these 4 stars, isn't able to deliver HITs in Volume.

5. No Trade website Consider Aamir to be No.1, coz they all know as how much contribution Aamir has in making those films big grosser. & If Aamir is the only force behind those success, kindly consider same thing for those 3 films failure & under performance.

6. In comparison of Box Office, Aamir is miles behind Salman, shown this here many times.

In Sab mein se - Dhobhi Ghat, Talaash, Secret Superstar hata do Aamir ki list se, woh Aamir films hi nahi hai, woh Box Office pe kuch karne ke liye nahi aayi thi =)) 🤣

For Every Salman film

- It Should do 300 Cr or else Embarassment

- It Should cross PK & Dangal

- It Should break Bahubali 2 Records

Forget what kind of film Salman is coming, when he is coming, Everybody expect him to be BIGGEST, this prove he is indeed 1 Star who is BIGGEST & ppl expect from BIGGEST only.

For Aamir - They aren't Aamir films, forget box office 😆
