The LGBTQIA spectrum is about nonconventional identities and expression gaining visibility. It is not limited to sex.

L = Lesbian

G = Gay (but gay can refer to any homosexual person)

B = Bisexual/bicurious

T = Transgender (used to once stand for transvestite and transsexual as well but those terms are becoming obsolete)

Q = Queer (used to be questioning)

I = Intersex

A = Asexual (sometimes stands for allies)

Just because u don't understand or believe in it that doesn't mean asexual folks don't exist. I know many women who are asexual and I sort of fall to that category too.

And no one meant most woman r asexual per say just that more women r asexual compared to men I think.

Asexuality does baffle me. I know only one person in real life who claims to be asexual. But that person is actually just a dick to everyone. I'm curious to learn more about asexual identities.

Now to think of it homosexuality and heterosexuality baffle me too. Its like picking just one candy from the dish when you can just scoop your hand in and grab as much as your fist can hold.

I'll try to explain what asexual means as far as I can explain as u were real nice about it.

To use ur own analogy it's basically not having a sweet tooth at all and rather disliking all that's sweets/candy. As difficult as it must be to u (who I'm assuming will fall in the enjoyment in all candy is great category ) to understand how it's possible, our kind of brains don't get the other side of it (as in why the candy is wanted by others at all)

I hope I explained at least partially. Didn't want the thread to lock so just stuck to candies 😆

Ok, there was a survey done in UK when they sample men and women. 60% of the women wanted more sex they currently were getting while 41% man wanted more. Women actually have a higher libido than man. Is the question can man handle it?Can society handle the idea a woman having cravings and wanting sex? there is so many research which is proving that women tend to have as much men or even more.

sexuality is complex, not black and white.
