I don't know. I liked that I was right about Mehak having killed Swami, but I don't believe her story. Here's why:
  1. She had quite some time to think up the story. Dev demanded answers, got attacked, they drove for a few minutes, and only then Mehak finally recounted everything.
  2. The sister not recognizing her. Multiple movies and shows have played on this track where someone goes to a mental institution or seniors' home or some other such place and calls someone their relative.
  3. Too convenient. It easily explains away everything and absolves Mehak of every crime.
  4. Dev accepting it. Dev doesn't accept anything so easily. And the fact that everything he did was to get Vaani's truth out makes me even more suspicious.
  5. For a conscious killer she has no conscious. Sounds like a chakravyuh doesn't it? But basically she claims that she couldn't kill Dev because she loves him and now that she knows Agnesh's trust she can't commit to that lifestyle. Yet she had no qualms killing that goon and now going to kill Agnesh.

After seeing the episode, i felt like i cant take anymore...why mehek you betrayed dev? you could have easily left the country with dev and lived happily ever after na? if you luv him so much then you should also have believed that his guru swamiji must be good too na?
Anyways i dont want to think anymore on mehek but i just luv our charming dev forever : )

There is a .001% hope in my head that mehak faked all the fake tears and will be like a Irene Adler. But I also know this is Desi show so anything out of realm of predicatablity is futile to hope.

Btw why that inspector helped her to fake death? What did I miss?

The show should be renamed as Mehak- most wanted criminal or most wanted Biwi. See why.

- mehak grew up in a small vill, evil baba comes and takes away her zameen and murder her family

- mehak became assassin and get caught into a chakravyuh, literally!

- mehak fakes her identity and marries a taklu and then when he was in coma married a security dude.

- mehak choses the Herculean task to leave the guy whom she loves and let's him think he killed her, when she could have just leave with a letter like "your obsession is bad I'mma leave" or a suicide note with suicide.

- mehak comes back as Vani after years when her husband #2 is still obsessing over her. Fell for him again, again traps him in two murders.

- mehak wants husband #2 as otp and wants his help to kill someone, again.

Now compare this to dev, what do we know?

- he grew up...in ashram. Where is his parents? Dunno, but they didn't care much for him, he thinks of a swamiji as his father figure.

- he painted some symbol which is linked to criminal Mastermind. What he did as childhood? Any sibilings? What he liked to eat or play? He liked hiking and fell in a pit in jungle once.

- he left his hometown and came to Mumbai and started living with a single old woman as Tennant, the lady was innocent enough to never question him. Is his parents dead? When did he go to army? What's his damn bday date?

- he likes biriyani and except from his own made tea or some high fi quality tea in rich houses he don't like any tea. He don't like coffee.

About meera- she had an abusive husband and left for her kid. She used to be a fraud. She has real abilities.

Zohra apa - NIL

Amod- he joined police and worked hard and is quite intelligent. That's it.

Abdul is missing. The cat was probably a gift from apa but again, not sure.

Somethin is a miss..I don't think the entire truth is revealed yet and Mehek's psychological issue wasn't touched upon instead her sister turned out to be mentally disturbed :S
Wat abt tht camera in their room? Did she deliberately leave it so Dev could prove his innocence? Or it was accidental?

Even I think that she was faking that entire story. The story seemed really simple for a thriller show like Dev. May be she's this super talented assassin sent to murder Swamiji and Dev. But now that she's caught by Dev, she cooked up a sob story to gain his trust. May be now she has become greedy and wants to kill that other Swami too so that she can take over his business (whatever it is) using Dev. In the end, when everyone think that, all is well, she may shoot Dev and inturn get shot by Narvekar thus, marking the end of the season. The next season (if there's one) may start with Dev surviving the shooting.

Just a few questions...1) how many more murders need to committed in order to end this show?
2) Can they kill us instead?

3) Is it so very easy in India to go about killing people?

4) Is there any sane reasoning behind aiding a killer who is also supposedly a fugitive?

Lastly a big thank you to the forum members for saving by 45 mins. 👏

Moral if the story- Indians cannot be trusted when it comes to crime thrillers/procedural drama/detective stories.

Our creative liberty is at per with kuch Bhi. The writers literally write what they think in head. At least devs initial cases were heart touching.

Aiding a fugitive cause Lou/greater good to kill a swami. The stupid thing is now dev can actually go to amod and both can plan to catch swami, but obviously our love birds are above all that petty things. ☺️

When it is come to Indian TV, not even logic is bigger than drama. These writers just cook up anything for drama. They don't give two hoots about logic.
Now super assassin Mehek is going to kill another man and from the looks of it, Dev is going to help her in it. What I don't understand is, if they really wanted Mehek to go around killing all the bad guys, then what was the need to introduce Narvekar or the police department in this show. Right now, aiding a fugitive seems to be the new definition of love.
