A flower is a coloured, often scented part of a plant that contains its reproductive organs. Aesthetically flowers are pleasing to the eye and appeal to our finer senses, especially when it comes to expressing our love ,devotion, respect for our dear ones, and towards events close to our hearts and minds. The word flower also refers to reaching a maturity level, in a relationship. Whereas in contrast dead flowers, typifies, a wilting and fading away off relationships.Today's episode revolves around one particular out of season flower, the stargazer lily. It will not be out of place to mention that the term stargazer actually alludes to being a bit of dreamer.One taken over by some dream indolence.. looking at the story we have Vyom gripped by his emotional bond with Sharanya, it's a devout preoccupation with him. It may have some gravity to it. On the other hand it may well be how he would like things to pan out between him and Sharanya.
He claims love bloomed like a flower between them two years ago.Only for Sharanya the flower of love never bloomed between them. Since her parents told her off, the least she can do is justify her rudeness of turning him down his red roses.. red roses, usually given to a beloved, were flowers she dislikes! For Vyom, her abrasive manner is far from off putting. He tells her so, his expectations of her, in other words the conjecture, he keeps in mind that she loves him , and her partial memory will fade and she will resume being what she was two years ago.. she is ill, but she'll come around! He'll make her.For Vyom he is in no two minds that he will ensure his love for her blooms to maturity in marrying her eventually !
Stargazer lilies is what she likes.. it 's the fragrance she smells around her. Special, as it was around her after she came out of her coma. All she wants is just the one Stargazer!is this a reference to someone special to her two years ago? A lingering fragrance. After the initial recollection, that someone sent her a bunch of lilies.. when she first came around, Vyom makes it his quest to search for the one flower , she requests him for the first time! For starters her wish is hard to grant, he seeks an out of season flower! Just his luck! But love is to persevere! He searches high and low! His frantic rummage in the tipped bin of dried dead autumnal leaves for the address card of the florist that came with the bunch of lilies sent to her by some unknown person? Symbolically shows how he is so fraught to please Sharanya , and to perhaps compete with this person who sent her the very flowers she likes! More strange occurrences, the florist shut shop two years ago. And operates as a groceries store! Strangely the florist was near the very college both Vyom and Sharanya went to... how odd..
One wonders where Vyom gets his obsession of getting his way in the end! His father Rajan is quite militant with Vyom's mother Madhavi. He rules over her. The scene between his parents clearly shows that his mother doesn't have a leg to stand on, when it comes to confronting his father. The woman has clearly taken to drink, to drown the woes of an unhappy marriage! She cries both father and son make her go insane! Has male dominance over women to the point of obsession, rubbed off on Vyom as well?? The way he refuses to let go of Sharanya even though she tells him time and again she has no memory of him! Is Vyom in the habit of turning a deaf ear to the plight of a woman, just like his father Rajan?
A room full of stargazer bouquets!! Vyom is speechless. Shranya teases, she asked for the one flower and he like with other things goes over the top! Vyom wonders.. this has to be the same person who sent Sharanya the first bouquet! Someone is out to turn his flowering love into dead flowers ??? Vyom does not raise alarm bells by telling her ,he has nothing to do with sending her flowers! But then who is the sender? Still who so ever!.. Vyom's peace does get robbed..the lilies are an evidence of an unseen presence, it lingers and spread around Sharanya ..
The putrid, decaying rotten fragrance confirms the essence of Shiv! Sharanya smells a bunch, not only pukes but goes mental, pulls the place, flowers all apart ! Vyom cannot smell death! Whereas Sharanya does! She turns wild, uncontrollable, chucks a bouquet at Madhvi and Rajan! Runs out of the hospital . Vyom saves her from an oncoming ambulance! She can self harm herself if she stays here.. he muses.
Shiv might want her out of this place back at her home in Missouri , maybe the decaying fragrance is for Sharanya to take a decision, that despite specialist treatment she is discharging herself from this place!! Vyom vows to get the best medical treatment set up for Sharanya in her own home! He himself will oversee her welfare ,this place is not safe for her! Rajan too approves of the idea, after Vyom tells his father.. he hasn't a clue who sent Sharanya the flowers?? His parents both support him in tending to Sharanya in her home. Madhvi does , cry at letting go of Vyom..it is understandable she wants her son to protect her against the cruel ,bad temper of his father! I think Vyom too, avoids being at his own home, due to his parents falling out , Rajan is a bully!!
As Sharanya is driven away from the hospital Sahiv? a being watches from the hospital balcony.. a warm welcome home! For Sharanya.. outside her home ,on the balcony, the same tall figure , silently stands and strums a familiar, repetitive tune.. Stargazers, lilies, pure , tranquil, delicate brings her back to where she belongs, the clear, pure,clean air of her mountainous abode.. hamlet53 27.10.17
The flower.. manages to have Vyom caring for Sharanya in the home environment , under his very eyes .The room full of lilies with the smell of death and rotting ,also frightens Sharanya enough to flee back to the very area where perhaps her and a guitar presence met two years ago??Did anyone notice how keen Rajan is for Sharanya to get better.. something shady about both Vyom, and Sharanya's parents.. precap is interesting.. seems to me Vyom is on a woo her, make her fall in love mission.. outside , a being wanders purposefully now one has to see if dead flowers come to life?? or a new flower of love blossoms..
