Midnight thought- what to do if I were Kanak

Kanak has a hard task to do now. Dealing with an angry and stiff husband transformed over night is not an easy mission. So let's be for a moment in Kanak's boots and think what should have been done. Yes, you will say divorce and leave him. I've also thought like this at first, now a days divorce is ready to hand escape and this is a big achieve in women's fight for freedom.
But I think a strong woman, who loves her husband and realizes he is wondering helpless on a dangerous way, should stay by his side and try to light his way for "coming home". The more so as she knows her husband loves her, he is genuinely good at heart but he was made to believe that she betrayed him and this is the reason of his sudden twist.
So why are we expecting from Kanak to be coward or while she always been a fighter?
That is my midnight thought: I f I were as powerful as Kanak is, what could I do to win my husbands trust back? What would I do to protect Uma from that hidden evil which overhangs all family's existence and threatens their physical and mental safety?
What would you do, powerful women, whose first option is not divorce, run away or bloody revenge?
Is Kanak missing something? Could you do things better than she does?

Hi hidifan,
Love your topic, it's very easy to run away or divorce, I agree that kanak is going through a hard time. Her husband who can't see her in pain is hurting her, all unexpected things are happening around her. But she knows the reason behind all this and she want to save her husband and family. This is the time that her husband, family needs her. If I was at kanak's place I will do the same what kanak is doing. Uma is betrayed by his own sister and wife, moreover he is misleded ,and kanak knows that really well. She even know that uma loves her and he is really good husband so she will fight for him. It's hard task and she doesn't have any support but she has courage and she will fight and she will win. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. I know I am not big expert but in my opinion love not always is sweet but seems that it helps to grow and support in hard times. So love is not a word, it is acting with positive result. Probably.

Very good post dear hindifan

A sudden thought came to my mind when I am seeing Uma as a robot.

Even before Kanak entered his life, Uma always respected and treated Women fairly.

Remember his dialogue about "Do not use force with Women, Child or elderly" to his subordinates when they toed Kanak and brought back to Uma's home.

Again he refused to look inside the kanak bag even when Massisa asked him to.

By heart, he is gold. No ego. He can think too. Above things he did himself from his own understanding.

But now amidst all this drama what he lost is Trust. Trust in himself. He lost his trust in his own decisions. That's why he is not thinking, he is not listening.

But that's what made him like that.

All this recent drama did more damage than it seems. The person who can't trust himself how can he trust others. He is in dangerous zone mentally.

Massisa keep playing some drama without giving him time to analyse which making things worse for KanUm.

Coming to What if I am in Kanak's place..

As Uma is a good person at heart, I will fight. Again don't know how but I will be there whether I can fight or not. Try every way possible to make things better. I always believe If I start a thing, help will always join. But If I am waiting for help to start it's never happened.

Help will come to Kanak but the first step is always alone.

What I hate is not trying.
and regret. On First attempt I try to give my 200%. Till now I always succeeded in all the things that I started whether they professionally or relationships wise.
so I will try my best as Kanak is doing.

Thank you for commenting, Mansi!
Agree with all you said, but I love this phrase: You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Hi hindifan I love this post thank u for bringing this wonderful post which is very much needed at this time .I agree with all of u guyz .Manasa and Mansi both of ur comments are awesome and precise uma is a wonderful personality no iotaof doubt in that we ve already seen all the best traits of uma 's character he is man with golden heart apart from following dharam he is genuine to everyoneEspecially Kanak he was open book to her he never hides anything from her he trusted her lot at the same time he respected her privacy he never attempted to probe her.Now that trust is broken anyone in uma 'place will react like this only he is bursting his emotions and anger now to Kanak becos he thinks he was betrayed by his own sis and wife his respect in lad no is lost he is now answerable to everyone his dharam which is his life is now questionable.
If I was in kanak place I will surely try to save this marriage I will not try to run away from facing problems only when we fight we can achieve the goal.Breaking rishta is very easy but to keep them safe and happy is the most important thing .That too for a husband like uma .A wife should always stand
Beside her husband at the times of sorrow .A true wife not only shares happiness she has to be there for her husband at times of need. Now Kanak all the more she should be therewith uma now to save his life .Present scenario is just a misunderstanding this will surely change taking hasty decision is wrong .Why should we make life complicated there is a way and solution for all problems we should sit analyse without anger and ego.My sincere advice to Kanak is she should be calm and composed and should carefully takenext move .Kanak has fighting spirits so she will surely win

Indeed, Manasa, Uma lost t himself lately and Kanak sees this. Her first reason to fight is to bring back her loving husband and win back his trust. Lately, when Maasa pointed to Maasisa as being the mischief and revealed her dangerous intentions, Kanak has a more important reason to fight, it is for her husband and family protection. I haven't watch DABH but I think now she behaves like valuable Sandhya's descendant.
Thank you for the wonderful comment.

:) all the lawyers of current track are here I guess. Good to have a positive perspective. Agree with all especially Mansi regarding her being strong.

I'm completely against with the physical violence they are feeding us. For us we have forum to discuss get different thoughts Sahi galat subkuch, think about women who are already going through such violence and if they watch the show it will tend them to think it's part of women life every where. So I want Kanak should put a proper full stop for physical violence. I don't know weather she did it already in the show.

Sorry if I derail the original topic. Nothing intentional.

Great post dear Hindifan. 👏
Love the comments of all buddies here. So agree with you all.

I believe marriage is a bond that is everlasting & all the wedding vows reinforce a couple's intent to stay together through thick and thin of life, till death separate them apart. In Indian wedding there are seven vows called saptashati where both husband and wife says to each other. In the 2nd vow the wife promises that "I'll be by your side as your courage and strength. I'll rejoice in your happiness." In the 5th vow the wife promises "
I promise to love and cherish you for as long as I live.Your happiness is my happiness and your sorrow is my sorrow. I will trust and honor you and will strive to fullfil all your wishes."

So if I was Kanak I'll think of how to fullfil those promises and stand strong by my husband who is so good at . He's so loving n caring when she got hurt he nursed her. When she pretend to faint he carried her to her room out of concern. He accepted to stay away from her n not consummate after being married for so long. Hat's off to the best husband. Now it's time for kanak to use her brain and fight for her family n husband. She should expose masisa in such a way that masisa would regret having evil mind.

Kanak should first be quiet rather than keep on arguing with Uma. Exposing Maasisa is not an easy job. She should also keep herself alert every time. She should either give more and best examples from epics who have respected and trusted their wives from heart. She can use technological advancements with the help of Shiva and Suman (secretely) as god's symbol to remove Uma's ignorance
