It's me againđ
So last night there were a lot of speculations flying in the air.I was extremely confused myself. But later on when I read everyone's points with a cool frame of mind I realised that everything is not what it seems and there is a lot more to the story than what we are being shown. After reading all the posts and theories on IF and Twitter,I have come up with my two cents again. The credit for this goes to all those people who showed me the scenario from various different perspectives and gave clarity to my thoughts.
Here are the facts of this case according to Vyom Bedi -
1.He met Sharanya in college and they fell in love.
2.Before they could tell Sharanya's family she met with an accident.
According to Sharanya's family,Vyom is the person who loves her more than anything. His love brought her back.
Now we are the audience who are being shown this. What were we shown??
Day 1:We were shown a lover who is ready to bear all the pain for the sake of his love.An unconditional lover who is willing to do anything. So we assume that their love is deep and intense.
Day 2:The girl wakes up and doesn't even recognise this man who claims to be her one true love. Her instincts warn her against him.Instead she feels attracted to an entity whom she cannot even see.
Also the man who claims to love her is cool as a cucumber instead of attempting his best to remind her of their cherished memories.
Some points which I observed after watching the episodes again properly-
1.One of my friends who watched the first episode said she found it weird that though Vyom had walked on fire and burnt his hands, his hands appeared perfectly fine instead of being charred.
Then I had laughed it away as a blooper.
But now I think that maybe it's not one at all. What if Vyom was wearing some kind of artificial skin which didn't let the fire affect him??I know it might sound preposterous but we it might be possible.
2.I don't know if anyone else felt it or not but when Vyom was doing the aarti and the flames blew off,he didn't look rather broken.Instead he gave the idol a glance, put on his specs and walked away.I dunno but it felt as if he was thining,'Chalo, the drama is over.I can go now.'
3.We have seen the protagonist confronting God for all the injustice in his life in many movies. The most famous one is undoubtedly,'Khush toh bohot hoge tum' scene. But most of those scenes took place in private involving only the protagonist and the concerned deity.Usually there is no one else around.
Even Maya Mehrotra used to talk to Ganpati but she always did when she was alone. She used to share her deepest thoughts and desires with Him and Him only.
But here Vyom is fighting with and making passionate pleads with God for Sharanya's life in broad daylight in front of a whole bunch of people. Those people saw Vyom as the audience saw him first.A lover desperate to get his love back and a hero fighting with God for his love.So it can also be possible that Vyom is flaunting his unconditional love so that when the time comes there are several people who can vouch for his love.
4.I am a sucker for symbolism so I tried to find some over here too.On one side Sharanya regained her conciousness when the windows opened and winds blew indicating Shiv's presence. And on the other side Vyom's diyas blew away.Usually fire getting extinguished is considered inauspicious.Maybe Vyom's diyas getting blown off was God telling Vyom that,"Enough with your nautanki for today. Now get lost."đ
5.Vyom and his teesra jaap.He continuously stressed on the point that no third person will come in between them.
So now we are back to the main question? What actually happened?? How does Shiv fit into Vyom and Sharanya's case or how does Vyom fit into Shiv-Sharanya's case??
The most common and predictable scenario is that Shiv is the soul of the one sided lover who has come to haunt Vyom Sharanya. Now I think all of us know that's not the case.
But then something occurred to me due to which I reached to two conclusions.
Conclusion I
Shiv and Sharanya loved each other deeply.
Vyom was a spectator to their love story and wanted Sharanya to himself.
Due to her first accident Sharanya faced severe trauma which is why another accident could be fatal to her brain and memory.
Maybe Sharanya shared this with Shiv or someone else and Vyom came to know about this.
Along with his father Rajan Bedi,Vyom planned Shiv and Sharanya's accident in which Shiv lost his life and Sharanya slipped into a coma.
During the period when Sharanya was in a coma,Vyom won the hearts of her family and fed them with the love story which he either cooked up or it was Shiv and Sharanya's love story and he just replaced Shiv with himself.
As luck would have it if/when Sharanya wakes up,she will have no memory of Shiv and he will feed the same story to her.
And if she doesn't wake up and dies then it won't be his loss coz of the whole,'If I don't get her then no one else will' tendency.
Conclusion II
Almost the same as Conclusion I but here Vyom is not an out and out baddie.Maybe he loved Sharanya a lot and was upset that she loved Shiv instead. So he must have told his dad to get Shiv out of the way.But he had never expected that his dad would actually get Shiv killed. His dad must have told him to go with the flow. But there is still the fear and guilt. This can be the reason why he is constantly worried about the Third Person.
Either way,Vyom must have never anticipated that Shiv would return from the dead.
