Theory Lane-Guilty or Not??

Hello EDTians!!
It's me again😆

So last night there were a lot of speculations flying in the air.I was extremely confused myself. But later on when I read everyone's points with a cool frame of mind I realised that everything is not what it seems and there is a lot more to the story than what we are being shown. After reading all the posts and theories on IF and Twitter,I have come up with my two cents again. The credit for this goes to all those people who showed me the scenario from various different perspectives and gave clarity to my thoughts.

Here are the facts of this case according to Vyom Bedi -

1.He met Sharanya in college and they fell in love.
2.Before they could tell Sharanya's family she met with an accident.

According to Sharanya's family,Vyom is the person who loves her more than anything. His love brought her back.

Now we are the audience who are being shown this. What were we shown??

Day 1:We were shown a lover who is ready to bear all the pain for the sake of his love.An unconditional lover who is willing to do anything. So we assume that their love is deep and intense.

Day 2:The girl wakes up and doesn't even recognise this man who claims to be her one true love. Her instincts warn her against him.Instead she feels attracted to an entity whom she cannot even see.
Also the man who claims to love her is cool as a cucumber instead of attempting his best to remind her of their cherished memories.

Some points which I observed after watching the episodes again properly-

1.One of my friends who watched the first episode said she found it weird that though Vyom had walked on fire and burnt his hands, his hands appeared perfectly fine instead of being charred.
Then I had laughed it away as a blooper.
But now I think that maybe it's not one at all. What if Vyom was wearing some kind of artificial skin which didn't let the fire affect him??I know it might sound preposterous but we it might be possible.

2.I don't know if anyone else felt it or not but when Vyom was doing the aarti and the flames blew off,he didn't look rather broken.Instead he gave the idol a glance, put on his specs and walked away.I dunno but it felt as if he was thining,'Chalo, the drama is over.I can go now.'

3.We have seen the protagonist confronting God for all the injustice in his life in many movies. The most famous one is undoubtedly,'Khush toh bohot hoge tum' scene. But most of those scenes took place in private involving only the protagonist and the concerned deity.Usually there is no one else around.
Even Maya Mehrotra used to talk to Ganpati but she always did when she was alone. She used to share her deepest thoughts and desires with Him and Him only.

But here Vyom is fighting with and making passionate pleads with God for Sharanya's life in broad daylight in front of a whole bunch of people. Those people saw Vyom as the audience saw him first.A lover desperate to get his love back and a hero fighting with God for his love.So it can also be possible that Vyom is flaunting his unconditional love so that when the time comes there are several people who can vouch for his love.

4.I am a sucker for symbolism so I tried to find some over here too.On one side Sharanya regained her conciousness when the windows opened and winds blew indicating Shiv's presence. And on the other side Vyom's diyas blew away.Usually fire getting extinguished is considered inauspicious.Maybe Vyom's diyas getting blown off was God telling Vyom that,"Enough with your nautanki for today. Now get lost."😆

5.Vyom and his teesra jaap.He continuously stressed on the point that no third person will come in between them.

So now we are back to the main question? What actually happened?? How does Shiv fit into Vyom and Sharanya's case or how does Vyom fit into Shiv-Sharanya's case??

The most common and predictable scenario is that Shiv is the soul of the one sided lover who has come to haunt Vyom Sharanya. Now I think all of us know that's not the case.
Then what could have happened?Earlier what confused me was how does Sharanya's first accident fits into this??
But then something occurred to me due to which I reached to two conclusions.

Conclusion I

Shiv and Sharanya loved each other deeply.
Vyom was a spectator to their love story and wanted Sharanya to himself.
Due to her first accident Sharanya faced severe trauma which is why another accident could be fatal to her brain and memory.
Maybe Sharanya shared this with Shiv or someone else and Vyom came to know about this.
Along with his father Rajan Bedi,Vyom planned Shiv and Sharanya's accident in which Shiv lost his life and Sharanya slipped into a coma.
During the period when Sharanya was in a coma,Vyom won the hearts of her family and fed them with the love story which he either cooked up or it was Shiv and Sharanya's love story and he just replaced Shiv with himself.
As luck would have it if/when Sharanya wakes up,she will have no memory of Shiv and he will feed the same story to her.
And if she doesn't wake up and dies then it won't be his loss coz of the whole,'If I don't get her then no one else will' tendency.

Conclusion II

Almost the same as Conclusion I but here Vyom is not an out and out baddie.Maybe he loved Sharanya a lot and was upset that she loved Shiv instead. So he must have told his dad to get Shiv out of the way.But he had never expected that his dad would actually get Shiv killed. His dad must have told him to go with the flow. But there is still the fear and guilt. This can be the reason why he is constantly worried about the Third Person.

Either way,Vyom must have never anticipated that Shiv would return from the dead.

The love story here without a doubt is between Shiv and Sharanya - the biggest clue is in the background score being played when the winds blow, the window opens itself and the lamps flicker (perhaps the special effects is the hero of this story?, Nah, it cant be! The special effects are dreadful!). But lets face it, there is no future in this paranormal romantic relationship and for this to go forward Sharanya has to die at the end of the series and reunite with her lover. That may not sit well with some romantic hearts and it may well thrive in others - so a divided audience is not a happy audience.
I think they will show Shiv and Sharanya's great love story but in the end Vyom will get the girl, when the finite series ends. For this, the extent of Vyom's guilt will be diluted with holy water and all will be forgiven and Sharaya will walk into happily ever after with Vyom. But not before showing us the great love between Shiv and Sharanya.

Afterall - one needs to hold on to the past but not let it overshadow the present and dictate our future. To be stuck in the past is to kill hope. Death is both an end and a beginning. and I really need to stop rambling and ambling about and get my act together.

It's fine.I don't expect SS to get a happily ever after anyway.I know it's not possible.
But my point is the extent of Vyom's guilt. If Vyom was unaware of Shiv's death and had no part to play in his murder then it's obvious that he will repent and he and Sharanya are the endgame.

However if Vyom was responsible for Shiv's death/murder and was the mind behind it then it would be appropriate if he is punished and possibly jailed so that justice can be served.

So it depends on how guilty Vyom actually is.Based on that either Sharanya will end up with him or he will end up getting punished.
Whether he is guilty or not is something we will know when we watch further.

My conclusion:
is somewhat similar to yours that Sharanya and Shiv were indeed college lovers and this is what might have happened:

1) Vyom and Sharanya meet in their junior year of college and strike up a friendship. Vyom is smitten with Sharanya, writing poetry and he creating music to go with it. Although Sharanya enjoys their friendship, she only sees him as a good friend and nothing more.

2) But Vyom's fall in love with her ... confesses his love for her by giving her red roses bouquet, but she tells him that she only sees him as a friend, because in the flashback it was shown Sharanya holding bouquet made out of Lilies rather than roses. Vyom does not like this but he accepts this remains a good friend.

3) Sharanya then meets Shiv, they both feel an immediate chemistry with each other. And later becomes college sweethearts. Vyom becomes jealous of Shiv but keeps this to himself and falsely shows to Shiv and Shranaya that he has accepted them as a couple .

4) Vyom plots against Shiv and manipulates their relationship by creating misunderstanding between them due to which Sharanya leaves Shiv.

5) When Shiv realises that Vyom has created rift between him and Sharanya ... and decides to tell her the truth but when he is about to tell her ... Vyom kills him, and makes it look like an accident or something.

6)Sharanya is devastated over Shiv's death and decides to meet her parents and Vyom volunteers himself to come along with her, they got into an accident and Sharanya goes into comatose.

7) Vyom stays with Sharanya for the whole two years since he knew that she doesn't know the truth about Vyom and he is still hopeful that Sharanya would fall for her eventually as Shiv is out of the picture.

8) But Shranya wakes up and forgets about her entire college life. So Vyom take this as an opportunity and lies that he and Sharanya were indeed lovers.

9) Shiv's ghost is back only to tell her that he was innocent all along and those misunderstandings were created by Vyom in order to separate them and also that Vyom is the murderer who killed him.

One simple line- The love Story had Shiv as the Hero but he manipulated facts and presented himself as the Hero. ... Now whyi felt this?😳

1. Sharanya didn't felt a penny when Vyom Touched her.
2. May be Shiv was driving the Car and lost his life, I mean how come nothing happebed to Vyom?😲
3. He doesn't look a musician from any angle... though we know Shiv is a guitarist. 😃
4. As a viewer we might be feeling the ghost is stalking Sharanya...this may be the other case, what if he's trying to protect her?😳
5. Nobody knows what had happened then except Vyom, hence the guy can present anything...haan college ka koi yaar shaar future meine ajaye toh very good we'll get to know the truth 😛

.I dunno but it
felt as if he was thinking,'Chalo, the drama is over.I can go now.'

^^THIS ... If he actually thought that , then I just found myself a villain to love 😆

Let me copy and paste what I said in
another thread...
I agree that vyom is sketchy am but
am skeptical ... He is either lying
about their love , because of the
memory loss but I don't think so ...
Maybe am a sucker for vikku but
something tells me half of his story is
true , on the surface every thing he
says happened but he is not stating
the events that lead to what ever that
happened too happen , I feel they
were in love or Vyom thought they
were in love , which now leads me to
questioning the lady , she says love is
from the heart , so what does that tell
me about her , hear is a man who
believed she loved him , but she is
now telling us that " I wasn't just that
into him "
I would like to believe that it was all in
Vyom's head but even with all his
intensity of a thousand suns ,
everyone reacts as if she did
reciprocate his feelings or pretended
to ...
What are they both heading , and My
ghost is just practicing his rights of
being a ghost ... Is he the true love
yaya ( that name is too long ) tried to
move on from , the love she never
knew , the love she met in her sleep
( think about it what if she heard his
songs in her sleep and relayed them
to Vyom ) or the love Vyom betrayed
or did they both betray him (shiv) ...
Some one should create a poll...
He couldn't have foreseen her
amnesia and if she dated shiv that
means the memories of booth boys
are gone ...

I am totally confused but one thing I can surely say that vyom dad is involved in shivs death that is 200 percent sure.
And I can clearly say more than love I found vyom wierd very weird
.what u said about the look he gave to devi Maa and where the speaks actually gave me creepy feels coz most of the villan in 90 flim used to do that be it srk in bazzigar or some other.

And also about artificial skin that will be little much but see the distance BTW temple and hospital is of 30 min atleast as it was on hills and the hospital in the centre of the city so that time is enough for making the skin right? Today there are so many expensive lotions cream that can easily remove the scars within 25 min to 3 hours!! So either this way or that way that removal of scar was not definetly a blooper is what I feel

Hey Ayesha

There are so many theories flying around after yesterdays episode. But one things for sure...Vyom and Sharanya's 'love story' is not as straight forward as it appeared in the first episode.

I think I agree with the majority in that the love story here id between Shiv and Sharanya and Vyom is definitely the third angle.

We haven't been told how Vyom was saved in the accident or what exactly happened tat day. The only thing clear so far is he is totally deewana for Sharanya.

The makers have done a good job in making the audience take a complete u-turn from the first episode.

Your theories are really interesting!

Actually I think the amnesia could have also be planned and executed too and was not just because of luck alone.. I have already mentioned how and why in another post for this... And since thus is a paranormal show anything is possible here.

Finally a show where we get to indulge our inner Sherlock. 😆

I too thought it was a straightforward story about Shiv coming in between Vyom and Sharanya but the CVs threw a curve ball at us.

I also found Vyom's expressions suspicious at some points like when Sharanya threw him out of the room.

My guess- Perhaps ShivAnya were in love while Vyom mistook his friendship with Sharanya for love. Vyom and his father had something to do with Shiv's death and Shiv is trying to protect/warn Sharanya about Vyom from beyond the grave.

As discussed before, Sharanya was constantly being touched by someone else's presence when Vyom was narrating their love story. That seems to be a pretty big indication that Shiv did have a role to play in her life.
