So taking of my 'glasses meant for logic' and boxing up that part of my head that remembers that there is a 'wife called Tanya' roaming in OM who claims to be married to Shivvay 🤢🤢, I decided to make a 'Happywala Diwali Post' 🥳 for my ShivIka Peps today

The '2 foot doori tadap'was addressed by his wife very correctly today. Billu seemed to have forgotten that he was a newly married man and that he had a newly married bride who had missed him immensely during his 15 days MIA stint. So she had to gently remind him that he needed to live in this moment that had presented itself with the opportunity of them isolated and with zilch interruption.
She had to remind him that when she was close to him, he needed to leave the worries of what could not be fixed for now and make the most of what he had before him that could be enjoyed for now. He needed to stop being SSO and just be her Shivvay. And that request was enough to bring about the change in him.
How his face changed to a teasing one with his mind moving to thoughts that were obviously anything but decent was kinda the old Shivvay back for that moment. The roguish, rakish and husband Shivvay made his appearance after a very long time. His one track mind working its way through his one track thoughts that he had put aside since his wedding day peeked out just a bit.
Annika pointing to the stars in the sky while he was looking at the stars in her eyes just like they should have been doing as newlyweds kind of makes one feel a bit sad about the situation they are in right now. The moment made light with the arrival of the invisible' lakkad bagga was too adorable and so like a normal husband teasing his wife. Of course the branch falling helped with a few more tight hugs from wife who was already safe and secure in his arms.
That look that they exchanged made one thing very clear, that as much as Shivvay admired her strength and her courage he knew at the end of the day it would be his job to keep her safe and protected because there still existed the 'scared little girl' inside who battled her many unspoken fears. And to lighten that mood and thought the 'invisible' lakkad bagga made a reappearance, and once again it resulted in the wife laughing because of his teasing.
The Hugs:
The hug was all encompassing, with her held to his chest, it was beautiful because to me it felt like he was taking her under his wing and protecting her. It was the hug that a husband would give his wife when he wanted to assure her that he would always shield her, wrap her up in his protection and hide her from any danger that might befall her.
The one thing that I noticed about ShivIka are the different hugs that they have for each emotion they feel. Each hug speaks for itself and each hug is given differently by both and the most classic one being me favourite Tum Mujhe hug kar sakti ho ... infact tumhe hug karna chaheye ... come on Annika?!!'❤️😉😳
Today the feels came back a little at a time, gradually, as I watched them gazing at the 'Chand'. The flash backs made my still soul stir with that same feeling that they managed to evoke in me prior to the Tanya entry.
From the flashback of the hug, again a different one where Shivvay almost covers Annika in this hug as he wraps his arms around her holding her to him as if she is the most precious thing in the world and he is afraid that he had almost lost her there for a moment, to the hug now as he has her safely in his arms, the thought of almost losing her then plainly forgotten because she is his now forever.
Annika awakening to all the feelings he always manages to stir in her, as she remembers his kiss, his embrace and then this all summed up with his one kiss on her forehead as she comes back to the present.
That was the most beautiful scene with ShivIka in a very long time. The whole husband-wife display of emotions needed no words and no explanation whatsoever of what each was feeling. They were perfectly in sync with the others thoughts and actions where their actions spoke louder than any words would have. Very beautifully done.
And how Shivvay slept, clutching on to his beautiful and comforting stuffed toy safe in his arms, was the icing on the cake.
I loved this whole part of the episode because I saw my old ShivIka emerge for a little bit and I am hoping that they keep it that way without any more of this Tanya nonsense.
I sincerely feel the writer needs to rectify this huge mistake of introducing Tanya as his wife and please redeem my Shivvay so that we can actually enjoy watching him love, romance and tease his wife.
To the writer I implore, as a disappointed and dejected Shivvay fan, please redeem My Shivvay from the 'Tanya Meri Biwi Hai' and free me from this cringe-worthy image, that I hold of him, in my head which keeps me from enjoying such beautiful ShivIka moments.
And what can I say about NarBhi they are the heart, essence and soul of ShivIka. They make ShivIka magical and so a BIG THANK YOU from a humble ShivIka fan for making that magic from the very first episode. 👏 👏
