Chef is a huge box office disaster and the way it is going it is not even going to get the numbers of films like Mirzya and Rock On 2. The film showed an improvement of 35% when it needed 135% and even them it would be some respectability and not success. The second day business has managed to go a little over 1 crore for a two day total of 2 crore nett.

The film has been totally rejected even at the premium multiplexes and this rejection looked on the cards from the promos but even after the promos you would assume it can do 10-12 crore nett business but it seems its only going to half of that. The first two day business of Chef is as follows.




Friday - 85,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 1,15,00,000 apprx


Total - 2,00,00,000

There were seven other small releases including 2016 - The End, Call For Fun, Muavza Zameen Ka Paisa and Raktshar among others but all were unable to get any worthwhile numbers.

Saif ahould do character roles like Anil Kapoor, his career as a lead is over.

Expected. No one wants to saif as lead anymore...He should go back to doing lagda tyagi type negative/supporting characters...

Come on Saifu... don't ruin your career for this kind of films... ghanta kuch nahi hota critical acclaim se, for which u did this film, ab woh bhi nahi mili... do what u r best at.

Last Success was Race 2 (Semi-Hit) in 2013 & Last Hit Cocktail (HIT) in 2012.

Saif - where are your eugenics? I thought they were suppose to far superior than most average folks.
