I dont see a mother in her too. she is just like she herself said a caretaker of royal steel looking for a waaris in her own blood. A mother would never blackmail her child over her other mother nor she would want to make a child homeless. Also she has no gratitude towards the people who brought her own child up with so much love and affection. That is because she still feels no deep love for anami and in return feels no love for the family that gave her love. Anami for her is only a heir. The only time i felt her love was when Anami broke her hunger strike otherwise she has been very callus towards her. upbringing is important you dont connect as a mother just by giving birth

i doubt if she was a good mother to vatsalya too. Otherwise why would he have felt stiffed & run away leaving his own mother. whatever attachment she had it was only because she bought him up, here anami was not with her since birth so she feels detached. @naq yes Krishna equalized the dharma of karna and arjuna. Indra supported it as he was arjun father. Sun God tells karna not to give. Karna doesn't listen to his father. He does dharma and obtain power to protect adharma which ghatolkach takes in battle. Also it was not Krishna who call night battle breaking rules. It is kauravas. He just shows how their wrong means destroy them as he undo each of their plans. Coming to arjun killing karna. Krishna has to evoke abhi again and again to a hesitant arjun..that hesitation defines arjun his conscience. He is battling with himself to do what Krishna asks him to do. But when u see abhimanyu killing u will see all these people somehow wanted to win. Never matter how they kill the 16 year old. Nor do we find empathy for panchali when she begs for dharma in the infamous hall of dice. You cannot cry hoarse and play victim after you gave poison to meet ur needs and finally u got the poison back.What u give u get. That's why means is important as that is ur definition. Karna had to suffer this adharma also because he ended up in wrong company to prove himself. He was a pawn in larger scheme of things for shakuni. A fighter against arjun. By the time he realized this it was late.

@guys I am unable to reply to each one of u as I am tied up due to navrathri.But I am reading all comments. All questions. Hopefully as show progresses I can bring more clarity to my analysis with examples. Satrupa is not Krishna of this show at this point. You don't feel secure with her.her ways are intimidating. One of the key things u feel abt Krishna is the security he gives along with the freedom to make choice .It is there in murari pathak.it is there in adhiraj as he brings anami from pujan room.i loved that scene. It defined adhiraj the shield.it was not romance still it was touching. Most important once they are back adhiraj is normal aloof self.it is there in dheeru also who guides his son but gives him the choice. But not in satrupa at this point. It can change of course as story progresses.Instead of blackmailing satrupa always had the option to discuss with gayatri and take her support to convince anami which she didn't do.so satrupa also has kingsize ego that doesn't want to bow but want to win always. I guess vatsalya knew this aspect of his mother.
