Straight From Salman Khan's Office: CEO Amar Butala FIRED

Amar Butala, CEO at Salman Khan Films, has joined Fox Star Studios as Chief Acquisition Officer.

But there's a back story to it.

Butala, who was previously involved in developing and executing projects at UTV Motion Pictures and Balaji Motion Pictures, has films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Hero and Tubelight to his credit after associating himself with Salman

Of late, Amar Butala and his righthand Garima were unable to deliver for SKF (Salman Khan Films). As per sources, Salman and Alvira was very upset with the way Team Butala was functioning.

Not a single film was finalised by Amar Butala & Garima post Tubelight. Multiple reminders were given by Alvira- but to no avail.

Last weekend matters came to a head and Alvira wanted to replace Butala.

Those who witnessed the tension brewing between Alvira & Butala at regular board meetings in SKF are not a wee bit surprised at Butala's exit.
