Predict Opening day, weekend and first week of Judwaa 2 - Page 2

i know its going to be a crappy movie :p
but the sort of crap people love LOL

i know the movies whatsapp group in my city is planning to watch it, people are generally looking forward to it. i'll probably be going to watch it too

im not a varun fan but after watching badlapur (also bkd) my opinion about him changed a lot. i hope this will be the one big hit he is yet missing (like ranveer has BM and ranbir has yjhd)

The original with Salman was just brilliant 😆 Fantastic acting (Salman in his element, such a natural at comedy and Raja was just charisma personified lol), awesome songs, wicked choreography and such a laugh. I must've watched that VHS video cassette on repeat - and that too after watching Twin Dragon first (the Jackie chan film it's a copy of). Judwaa was an indianised better version.

Anyways Varun is the best choice for it, looks like he'll make it fun. I don't think anyone can touch Salman's comedy+screen presence.. but Varun might just make it his own, in a different way.


One thing I hope doesn't disappoint is the choreography of the songs. In the original Judwaa, each and every song was brilliantly choreographed, I used to watch them again and again. I hope the songs in this one live up to the.. legacy if you like lol.

So I'm not good at predictions but I hope this Judwaa ends up being highest grosser of the year so far.

One of the best opening weekends of the year, if not the best. So even though I think this film will be nowhere near Badri, it will open BIG. For reference Singh is Bling and MS Dhoni both had opening days of 20+ Cr in the past couple of years.

Opening day: 18 Cr
Opening 4 day weekend: 77 Cr
Lifetime: 114 Cr
Verdict: Hit

Not good in prediction, but hope it beacome a big hit for varun and taapsee. If it becomes big hit then it can be good for October also.

We'll get to know that once it releases.
