Dear Sanaya,

It's that time of year again, when I get a chance to wish you all the best for your birthday. This year I want to add to those wishes. I want to thank your parents, for not only bringing you into the world, but also for making you the wonderful person that you are. Over the last two years we had the chance to watch Sanaya the person on screen, not just the characters you play ... and I fell in love with you all over again, this time for the wonderful person that you are. So a big thank you to your parents for giving us YOU!

Most of all, I want to thank you ... for being Sanaya. The girl with a golden heart, the girl with an ever present smile, a smile which lights up your face and brings joy to the hearts of so many fans. You light up the small screen and so many lives with your magic. Your ability to connect your audience to your character make every one of us feel that we know you ... and to know you is to love you. Your offscreen persona, which we had the chance to see more of, during JDJ and NB, makes me love, respect and admire you even more. Your bright spirit, your cheerfulness and positivity, your down to earth nature, and your sheer exuberance and joy radiate from your face and spread sunshine and warmth all around you.

So here's wishing you all the best on your special day. May you always remain as warm, wonderful, loving, bindaas, bold and beautiful as you are today. May you always face the world with a smile, and see all the best that life has to offer. May God shower his choicest blessings on you, and may your life's path be strewn with roses all the way.
