PVR conspiring against SIMRAN?

PVR has not allotted any screens to the movie SIMRAN as yet.

The movie will face a huge setback if that happens. Is PVR conspiring with the misogynistic and sexist Bollywood industry to show a woman down who dared to raise her voice against the big wigs?

Delhi & NCR have no shows at PVR so far.

Your city?

It is most definitely a conspiracy since Lucknow Central has been allocated screens at PVR already.

Not just PVR... Even Inox and Cinepolis hasn't alloted any shows as of now. Only local theatres are showing show timings. Guess they are still figuring out the allotment since I've heard Simran has a limited release.(?) It's a T Series film so I don't think multiplex chains will take panga with Simran.

Good to know. I hope it works out. This could be huge otherwise.

Why do you think they wouldn't have figured it by now? LC has already been given screens. What do you reckon happened?

No shows in Mumbai. PVR website only shows 'coming soon' for Simran while Lucknow Central has many bookings open.

PVR is usually late in displaying screens. Also happens sometimes when there is some discord in number of shows for a particular movie. Mostly during clash you will always see SRK movies advance booking would start one week in advance but the other movie screens would not be displayed till 1 day before release.
Ms. Ranaut is not so important that they would conspire against her.

Oh , good for her.

I hope she doesn't become that important, ever.😃

From my experience of ticket booking and talking to theatre managers regarding this, I've realized this usually happens with small films. Like if the distributor had earlier decided to release in 200 screens but at the last moment changed their mind and decides to release in 300 screens (or vice versa) due to reception from the public, the theatre takes time to reschedule shows accordingly. This happened to me with Naam Shabana and Death In The Gunj. So this might be a reason with Simran too but not sure.

Okay, that sounds reasonable.

I had a huge conspiracy theory otherwise. Ha! 😉😃

Conspiracy? Don't let the horses of imagination run that wild LOL
Cinemas have a motive of earning money, they don't get into this rat race of stars. By not showing her movie, they would lose out on the money they could have earned. If they don't play one of the two movies releasing this weekend, what'd be their benefit? Those who want to watch would watch it in another theatre.
Conspiracy Hahaha! Planning and Plotting real life mein iss level pe hone lagi toh sabke kaam band hojayenge.

Haha!

Okay, Imagine this -

All big production houses ask PVR to not give KR's movie screens or they would collectively boycott PVR. PVR would lose more business that way and would have a reason to oblige.

Yash Raj made PVR allot lesser screens to Ajay's movie during their clash, didn't they?

It's not totally inconceivable!? 😆
