Raman calls Ishita after their lunch, and informed her he will be coming to their house and asked if her parents are at home, after getting a nod from her , he took ruhi along with him to talk to her parents.

Raman knocked on the front door and was waiting for someone to open, when amma opened the door and said yes raman..

Raman: Aunty can I come inside

Amma opened the door and said yes come inside

Raman: aunty is uncle here? Can i talk to both of you?

Amma : yes he is inside, let me call him and you can sit .

Raman and ruhi sat in the sofa and he was talking softly to ruhi when amma and appa came together

Appa: what is it Raman, what do you want to talk to us

Raman asked ruhi to go inside and stay with ishita and she went inside.

Raman : aunty and uncle, what i am going to say may surprise you,he took a deep breath and said, I want to marry Ishita and I would like your approval.. When they were about to say something.. Please uncle, let me complete... I think you know that I'm a divorcee, my wife left me and ruhi, when ruhi was 3 months old. I got divorce soon after that. I own my own business and I earn enough to keep my family happy.. I want to marry ishita, no I don't want to marry her just for ruhi. I want her as my life partner and also as ruhi mother. We have been friends for sometime, so we understand each other. I want to take care of her and let her take care of our small family. I will treat her well and I will always support in her decisions. If you have any issues please tell me, I will try to answer or clear them.

Appa and amma are shocked, they never expected him to offer to marry ishita. Appa and amma looked at each other and said

This is so unexpected, we need some time to think and also we need to talk to ishita, before we can give any answer. But you know her condition and are you and your family ok with it

Raman. Yes uncle, my family accepts her as she is. Can I say something uncle, when appa nodded he continued. Ishita is perfect as she is and I don't care about her being infertile. She is a mother to ruhi, even if we don't marry, she will love ruhi like a mother. Please don't mention about ishita being not able to become a mother, at least in front of me and ruhi. We are happy with ishita, that's all I care about.

Appa and amma had tears in their eyes, with Raman speech. They always wanted someone like this, that will love their daughter for what she is, not what she can give.

Appa said can you wait here and asked amma to give him some coffee and juice for ruhi and join him in ishita's room.. do you mind waiting here Raman.

Raman: No uncle I'm fine, you can send ruhi outside.

Appa went to ishita room and told ruhi...her her dad is calling her, and she left the room

Amma served Raman coffee and left some snacks for ruhi and juice. And went into ishita room.

Ishita heard every word Raman said and she controlled her tears, she didn't want ruhi to know that she was crying, but the moment ruhi left the room, tears came falling down. She thought she loved subbu and he understood her, but she is wrong. Raman understood more than subbu in their 12 year relationship. She was so happy when he said, no ... he told her parents that she is perfect and she doesn't have any issues. She never felt so happy.

When appa and amma came to talk to her, she knew what their answer might be, but they wanted her confirmation .

Appa said kanna Raman wants to marry you, seeing your face, you heard what he said right? Did he talk to you about this? If you want sometime, i can talk to him...

Ishita: Yes appa, he asked me already, but he wanted your approval. He wants to make sure you don't have any issues with him being a divorcee with a kid.

Amma asked why do you want to marry him kanna. I know what he said is good, I know he is a good person, but a divorcee...

Ishita got angry and said it's not his problem amma, his wife cheated on him and left him with a newborn baby. Anyone in this situation would hate the kid or feel sorry for themselves, but he did neither, he brought her up, fulfilling both parent's roles and duties and at the same time establishing a business. You just need to spend some time with ruhi to know how well adjusted child she is, actually he doesn't need a mother for ruhi. He fills that role perfectly. I never saw him as a divorcee. If it's not enough, he is very good person, helps everyone and takes care of everyone. He helped me before we even knew each other. He was worried for some stranger on a road.

Appa: What do you mean you met him before you knew

Ishita: Remember appa after we shifted here, I had to go for an emergency and then the next day, we went for car shopping that's because of him. That day my car stopped suddenly in the middle of the road, it was so late i couldn't even call a mechanic. When someone knocked on my window, i got scared and was ready to call police. He said he saw my car and just came to check on me if everything was ok. When i wouldn't open the door, he asked me to let him look at the car and assured me he means no harm and passed a note with his mother's number and said I can call his mother and verify.

He fixed my car and said i know you don't know me, but i would like to offer some unsolicited advice..you might have your reasons for being here this time of the night, but if possible don't travel alone or if it's not, get a new car, yours is an old one,luckily this is a safe area, it couldn't have been, nothing can be more important than your safety. I am sorry if you feel I'm giving a lecture to you, but I have a daughter so i can imagine how worried i will be if she is in your place. Once again I'm sorry for saying all that. But please be careful. I can follow your car until you reach your destination if you feel comfortable.

Ishita thank you for your help. But I'm just few minutes away from hospital, so don't worry.. I will reach there safely..once again thank you.

Raman : ok then take care stranger, good night and left.

Ishita: I never told you about this incident, because I didn't want to worry you, but I got a new car next day. Appa , amma he showed so much care and concern for a stranger, imagine how much he will care for his wife, and i came to know him these months as a friend.. He is really a nice person and cares for me. I would like to marry him, if you agree for this match. If you have any concerns, we will clear it for you. I will be happy with him and ruhi.

Amma and appa are happy that ishita is happy with Raman and ruhi, and that made them come to a decision.

Appa: come kanna , let's go and tell Raman our decision.

When appa and amma came, Raman stood up with ruhi in his arms. And when he saw ishita also coming he got his hopes up.

Appa said Raman ishita also agreed and we are also happy with this alliance. If you ask your parents and let us know the best day to start the discussions we will get everything ready.

Raman asks ishita come to him and all three took amma appa blessings.

Ruhi didn't understand anything what's going on, she was following her papa.

When they stood up she asked Raman, did they agree?

Raman said yes ruhi , ruhi went to amma appa and said thank you Tata and patti.

Ishita was also surprised when she spoke Tamil, Raman whispered to her I taught her that so if I couldn't convince she will take care of it..

Ishita laughed and said you are a perfect raavan Kumar.

Amma appa are so happy to see ishita laughing and being truly happy.

Raman:Aunty and uncle we will take our leave and I will come back to let you know about when my parents will come.
