If people are praising EHT to the skies, it is evident that the standards of TV shows are subpar. EHT is sort of a salvage from the other disasters in the name of thrillers but the entire plot of it was lifted from Revenge. The characters, the theme and some subplots were directly copied. And I was quite disappointed by it and left watching midway.

And Beyhadh is a train-wreck. The makers are so way in over their heads that it's laughable. Dark romance is great TV if done properly. However quality is the key which is conspicuously lacking in the shows.

None of the above shows are romantic. Beyhaad is anything but a romantic drama. The female lead is a psycho. The male lead is spineless. You can call the show anything but romantic.
