Avni and Neil rocked this episode, we often refer to Avni as a tubelight but truthfully speaking Neil can be one as well. In this episode you can see how sharp Neil's mind is when it comes to solving a case but when it comes to Avni, it is a challenge for him to understand her. Neil just could not understand Avni's POV for him it was all about her lack of trust in him but he failed to see his lack of trust in Avni was equally painful for her. I loved when Avni threw it in Neil's face that his mother could have hidden the pen drive because she wants Avni out of Neil's life, her dialogues about still having a heart despite being shot and feeling the pain was so heartbreaking. Neil really hurt her and when he saw that the remorse hit him.

I'm loving the Khannas more and more, that confession from Ali could have easily instigated them but Prakash just could not believe it. It is really easy to see where Neil gets his brains from, its his father. Neil knew that whatever Ali was saying was because he was forced to. Honestly a male lead like Neil is rare, no he is not perfect we have seen clearly that he has his flaws but how many guys would show such faith in a man who is in love with his wife? It takes a lot of trust and I'm glad Neil knows Ali could never wish ill of him or Avni.

The scenes with Avni and Neil at Ali's cafe were too good, she told him what she had learned about the case and her gut feeling about everything connecting including the girl she wanted to help. Avni wants to work together with Neil but he does not want to put her in harms way, he goes as far as handcuffing her to keep her safe.

Precap was DD telling Neil about Avni escaping, his fear that she was kidnapped. We know from OLVs that does not happen but DM and Amol are planning a future kidnapping. Amol found the divorce papers, so will they let Neil believe Avni has left him? Interesting. I want to see how things unfold because Avni and Neil have proven they are not your typical leads. Neil and Avni are both flawed but it is those flaws that make them perfect together. Neil and Avni will make mistakes but it is how they grow from them that makes their pairing worth watching. Neil and Avni continue to become closer despite all the negative people in their lives, it is the negative plotters that are reinforcing the bond Neil and Avni share.

I loved that they are not typical type characters they are not perfect arrogant or mahaan type they both are flawed they do mistake and right after realization immediately appologize they both are right at the same time wrong too and despite all reservness from avni and always complain from neel that she doesnt vocal yes she is vocal about her feelings but from different way she express what his mom wants they both says painful things to each other but still if needed they both want each other presence first neel madly run after her plz talk to me when avni find some evidence she called him first now matter how much they fight
No matter what happened neel doesnt want avni to be harm even after listen to painful things from avni he still not free her when it comes to safety for avni he becomes deaf he was pissed off to avni but more than he was depress that his loved one safety now are at stake first riya then she says they want avni now ali its not easy for him

Yes he accept ali love for avni with a big heart and their friendship too he knows ali loves avni but hw will never harm neel too bcz neel and ali are friends too yes they are now not like before but still they both wont harm at each other at all

I think at the beginning you could see how mad they were at each other ( and their anger towards each other was understandable. They were both right in their own way). But I thought once Neil realized how hurt Avni was, he felt remorse. And he tried to make it up to her!

You could totally see how despite the argument they had, he cared for her. He just couldn't bear to see her crying at the Cafe.

I was actually worried about the argument but, I was happy about the way the CVs portrayed the scene.
I also loved how Avni threw the Shweta wanting to separate them in her argument because it shows how she cares that she is trying to break them up and it also shows that Neil knows that she's right.

Amol is a little shit! 😡 I'm disliking him more and more. Every time I see his face smirking, I want to throw something at my screen. I can't wait for him to get what he deserves.

The divorce papers- it says Ananya Khanna on the papers so I want to know how that's going to affect the effect it will have. To be honest, I kinda want it to happen nowish! I would Neil to throw it in her face and she says " I don't want a divorce" and that be the 10 days challenge! 😳 CVs, if you're reading, please!!!

Same here, neither are mahaan nor do they try to be perfect they just are just flawed like any human being is. Neil and Avni's love for each other overpowers anything that is said to the other, even after they exchanged hurtful words to each other there was Neil to be her support when she heard Ali's confession and the way he ran after her and tried to call her. Neil's concern for her was one of his top priorities. Avni same thing when she cooled down she realized she said things she shouldn't and did not want Neil to misunderstand her asking for help, this is the beauty of their relationship.

Neil knows Avni was just lashing out when she was saying all those hurtful things to him at the cafe, he already knows how she feels about him but he was not about to let her emotionally blackmail him into letting her accompany him. Neil cannot put her life at risk, it is like DM said for Neil Avni is his jaan. Neil will never let harm come to her as long as he is around, he will be her shield.

Ali and Neil's friendship really is unique, they could have destroyed this friendship Ali shares with both but instead you are seeing it grow stronger as a result.

Neil's remorse started the moment he saw those tears in Avni's eyes, he tried to reach out to her and she walked away and she stopped him once again when he tried to wipe her tears at the cafe.

The CVs handled Avni and Neil beautifully in this episode, yes they fought but you could also see how much they love each other and that anything said was in the heat of the moment. Neil and Avni both want the same thing.

Amol and Riya both, whenever they smile thinking they have succeeded I just want to wipe the smirks off their faces but their day will come. Amol and Riya are doing their grandmother's bidding but look what is happening, Neil and Avni are becoming closer and their faith in Ali is unbreakable. I seriously believe DM is wrong about Neil, yes Avni is his life which is exactly why he won't just sit in a corner and do nothing. Neil is going to fight back, he is not the same man he was 8 years ago. Neil is now a cop who knows he is a target and so is Avni. Neil would be more determined than ever to go after the people he believes could harm his wife.

I knew those divorce papers would come into play sooner or later but their plans have to backfire again.

Apt title. Yes they are not typical leads and thank god for that. Once we have realistic people or leads who are imperfect individually but are perfect for each other and their strongest plus point is that they started out as friends. But am also glad that serial is showing that opposite sex friendships are possible without really harming the nature of it even if woman gets married or vice versa. The way Neil also trusted Ali that he won't do such thing and trusted Avni's faith in her friend. I can't help but recall one dialogue that when we all were looking elsewhere Avni is the girl who never stopped believing in innocence.
As I posted in other thread each one hurt the other but from this there will be progress as it helps understanding weak points. It was also required to unburden what was there rather than fester it which is shown on other shows typically. Honestly I feel that is so OTT.

As far as divorce papers are concerned I feel that CVS will capitalise on fact that Ananya name is given and not Avni which will lead to expose and Neil super cop intelligence waking up that this can't be Avni. Reason I feel this is because camera zoomed in on the name Ananya which was in bold.

The CVs are staying true to SP's nayi soch, they could have easily turned Ali negative or turned Avni and Neil against him but instead you are seeing the purity of friendship. I am loving the bond these three share, their faith in each other and the fact her in laws are supportive despite knowing of Ali's feelings for Avni.

Ananya being the name on the paper will definitely be one of the biggest giveaways to Neil to know something is not right. Perhaps that is when he will realize this is an inside job that it is not only Raghu Pandit who is involved in this. I wonder who really sent those papers to Avni though now that we know it was not DM's doing, was it Shweta's? Neil will want answers.

Yes Avni and Neil are not your typical leads and that is what makes them worth watching, makes their love story worth investing in. They are both flawed and capable of saying and doing the wrong thing, but they always have the right intent. They also are at cross purposes in this situation as they both have the same goal, finding and proving Ali's innocence, but they are trying to do it in two different ways.

Maybe this time, Neil should have let Avni accompany him when she said "Lets solve this together". Because in his "chakkar" of protecting her, she ends up in even more trouble, going on her own tangent the way she does. Doesn't Neil know his Chantomi Thagni wifey won't just sit there and wait? She has "sources" that give her leads. Just like DD she also had a colorful past as a vigilante outlaw. He must know she is resourceful enough to have not got caught and how many times she made a pappu of him and got away? So he should not have underestimated her. But he loves her and wants her out of trouble, but she goes and lands in more.

The hurtful things they said was necessary to bring out some of their latent issues and I am glad after all the flirting they have been doing, some REAL stuff got highlighted yesterday. Yes they have reached a new level in their relationship. Their intimacy is higher, they share a bed and they acknowledge each other as husband and wife. But there are some issues between them which are related to trust that need to be sorted before they can truly step further into the relationship, and I am glad that got highlighted with these arguments. The fact that Avni knows Neil knows she was a thief is a good thing. That Case 123 got solved is a good thing. Coz Neil also knows that aspect of her. But that also gives them the chance to throw the Chor and Barosa dialogues around, which is increasing the angst. Which I love BTW!

The friendship of AvNeil and Ali is a Missal! Ali was Avni's friend and then Neil's friend and now he is AvNeil's friend. It's clear their trust in him is unshakable. Avni and even Neil dosti nibha rahi hai with Ali, just like he did. When he had the chance to double deal them he stepped out of it. He realized his error. He didn't betray the friendship. Like any normal guy, he was jealous when his childhood sweetheart married someone else. He was stung when he realized that she is starting to fall for this guy, and him for her. But in time he realized that his place is as Avni's BFF and Neil is her husband and he needs to respect that. Hard as it was for him he moved forward too.

Nayi Soch is true of these three and their equation. Neil without being a typical guy is trusting his wife's BFF who loved her since childhood. He doesn't think that their friendship is inappropriate because it is not. It's ALL in the "Soch" and Neil's soch is not that ghatiya. I hope when the time comes, Juhi's equation will be treated the same, and they will show that instead of being a cliched Vamp, an ex can also be a friend. Just like Ali, she may lose her way for awhile too. Probably same as Ali, Shweta might poison her mind too. But I hope even she understands the error of her ways and changes her attitude just like Ali did. That would be Nayi Soch.

The story is going good and I hope it's reflected in the TRP's as well. SP needs to promote the show more. No promo for weeks and the last one was Juhi. They need to give one about AvNeil and Ali again. They always increase TRP. The Coorg track which followed after the Love Triangle promo had good TRP!

Reading all your analyses is just as exciting as watching the episode! I often miss out on some nuances but someone or the other is always there to point it out. Kudos to the CVs for writing such a beautiful and intricate story, that allows viewers to go beyond a surface level viewing if they choose to.

The title is absolutely on point. Like most of you have mentioned, I love how the CVs have always taken the road less travelled. TRP aunties are used to seeing a sacrificial FL, an arrogant ML whose ego is the size of Russia and a love story ridden with misunderstandings, but they have done none of that. In fact, everytime there was a possibility of creating a misunderstanding between AvNeil, they have shown growth in AvNeil as a couple and as individuals. And yes! I'm so glad that they didn't turn Ali into a villain or didn't ruin the friendship he shares with both Avni and Neil! It's heartwarming to see a ML not be jealous of another male character and instead rationally think through everything. Is it funny that we are commending a show for having logical and sensible leads? Shows the state of ITV at the moment. *facepalm*

I really want to know how the divorce paper drama plays out. Would they tamper it and change the name to Avni? I hope not. Plus DVM and co don't know about Juhi so this divorce paper is probably going to come to play much earlier than that. But how though? They didn't succeed in kidnapping Avni and I doubt they will either because Avni is going to be with DD and Neil 24*7. I feel like Madam Madonna might chance upon the papers and create some drama. Like Bebe says, tujhe toh drama chahiye na. *SMH*

I am loving the angst too! I'm glad the CVs are taking baby steps with this pairing, yes they've made progress but they are still growing as individuals and as a couple which I love. I would rather see this happen first than see a confession, in other shows they usually show confessions which are followed by a series of misunderstandings but here it is the opposite. Avni and Neil have trust issues but it has not affected their relationship to the extent where you cannot see how much these two love each other.

You are right, Neil should be taking Avni with him because she has proven to be in much more danger when he does not do so. The only way Neil can truly protect Avn is if she is by his side where he can keep an eye on her at all times, also she's proven to be quite helpful when it comes to this case. Avni and Neil are using their sharp minds to see how everything connects.

I am just so impressed by the CVs for how they've written Neil, Avni and Ali's friendship. I thought for sure Ali would turn into the typical psycho lover but he chose his friendship over love, that is how you knew he truly loved Avni and wanted her to be happy. What is even more refreshing about this is the fact Neil and Avni know about Ali's feelings yet it has not affected their relationship nor has it affected the way the family treats him. It is only Shweta who is annoying

I am really hoping the CVs write Juhi to be the female version of Ali, it would make for a great story and show why Naamkarann stands out from the rest. Hopefully there will be a new promo soon, maybe one of Avni being kidnapped and Neil going crazy with concern?
