There's a part two to this where she answers audience questions. Loved that as well. It's commendable that she is sharing her trade secrets with upcoming actors who are part of the audience. I remember someone had quoted me in the feminist card thread saying why am I applauding Kangana and how is it helpful to people in distant towns since everything is anyways out there and everyone has a TV. This and the follow up Q/A film companion video is the reason why! When was the last time did we see any actor talking about their methods with simple examples and not complicated terms? Leave that, when have we ever seen an actor share such details at all?
I agree half of Bollywood actors are not such good speakers but the ones who really are, like Kangana should be encouraged.
Also, it's nice how she credits people for the methods that isn't her but something she has adopted like the script reading method. Also, unlike the blinds it's pretty amusing that Kangana spoke highly about both Anand Rai and Vishal Bharadwaj. This has got to be the best interview of Kangana till date. She has set the bar very high if we look at the past FC talks like the horrible Parineeti Chopra one(comments on that video are proof enough.)
We should also give credit to Anupama for this. She is doing a FANTASTIC job with Film Companion for film lovers. I mean we have all had these foreign film making youtube videos but Anupama is doing that with Bollywood, Marathi and South Indian films. The channel's cheat sheet series is the best thing to have happened for BW film lovers. A really good effort for a start up like Film Companion. This could've easily been one of those expensive workshops but they kept it free!
P. S- I'm not Anupama 's PR. I just love how she performs her duty as a film reviewer and entertainment reporter. Who doesn't want quality stuff to come out of Bollywood? :)
