i guess no singers in bollywood dont get much importance they work as some audio instrument for film stars who are considered superior to singers
I suppose. Not the same in the west though. Biliebers and lovatos run the market there. Though talent wise if you see our singers are no less than our actors, somehow they are always secondary to them. And to actually think that the songs last way more than the movies. I mean how many of us remember each and every dialogue of k3g? But we remember all the songs of the same.
For me atleast, music plays and played a major part of my life. So for me singers are more iconic than actors also. I'm not a fan of a single actor although I like many. But I'm a fan of many singers!
