Today was all about trust once again.
Panditji is weary of the world and doesn't trust anybody. Satrupa and Guruji did not just breach trust of the Royal family but they also breached the trust of Pathak family. Murali took Anami without any question, without any hesitation and even though she wasn't his blood, he treated Anami as his own. But instead of letting Anami be his daughter till the end, Satrupa and Guruji snatched her away and locked her in a castle to fight for inheritance, money and power. In this situation, although Madhu was willing to trust Adhiraj, Murali is not. And I am glad that he didn't trust Adhiraj. He maybe an honest, upright officer of law but when it comes to Lal Mehal, his intentions aren't purely professional and aren't guided by righteousness. Its guided by revenge.
Vatsalya's friends came to return his stuff. His diary, the poems indicate one thing, Vatsalya was born into royality but he never wanted to be the heir to the throne. He was a free bird who hated being caged. He is so much like his sister in nature yet so much different at the same time. I cried when the poem was being read. Then the much awaited show down between Baap and Beti. Vikram may not realize but each of his harsh words will come back to haunt him and make him shed tears when he truly lets Anami in. I liked the verbal battle between Anami and Vikram. More than that, I loved how our awesome Grandmother, the royal highness let the two butt heads. If Vikram doesn't interact with Anami, he won't realize that she is Vatsalya's mirror image. And our Anami faints after 3 days of hunger strike. I don't know what followed but I have a feeling Vikram might have helped Anami. The transition between scenes were abrupt so I guess that part is reserved to be revealed later.
But the heart wreching part came in the last five minutes of the episode. Anami waking up and talking to her Pagli Panditayn and breaking into tears that she has been holding in made me cry. The song choice was again excellent. I love Neerja and Aisa Kyun Maa ost from the film. And the piognancy of the scene was elevated 100 times thanks to the song. Anami might be causing disturbance in the Mehal but she is still a young girl. A young girl whose world was turned upside down in matter of days and she has not been given any time to adjust emotionally to the changes. I know Anami is all rage right now but that rage hides her helplessness, her anguish, her pain. That wall came down and she let it all out once she talked to her Pagli Panditayn. Satrupa is also helpless, her daughter rejects her for the right reasons and she is helpless to the demons she created herself. So, she feels relieved while her daughter finally gives in but not for her sake.
Precap: Anami doesn't trust Adhiraj and sees through his facade. That's my girl. I am glad she is calling him out on his duplicity that she has noticed.
