I have been accused of giving pravachans. Bas, I have had my share of happiness, sorrow, elatement, hurt and all these come with levels of enlightenment about life.

We have a tendency to oscillate between past and future. Between the regrets and memories of the past and fear and anxiety of the future, we find ourselves, most of the times, neglecting the present that unfolds in front of us in all glory. But the present has its own way of finding its way towards our heart. Like a freshly bloomed flower in our garden, like the mountain that is passing by through the window of a moving train, like the uninhibited laughter of your baby, like the moment the man in your life looks deep into eyes and makes you wish for that moment to be frozen. These are some moments when you forget how hurtful your yesterday was of how uncertain your tomorrow could be.

Its an incredible experience.

Can I just say it was one such incredible "present" moment when a little cherub all of five years runs into the arms of his mama, tumbling the mighty man onto the floor and transforms him completely, almost unrecognisable?!!

Irrespective what he did yesterday, what he is about to do tomorrow, ignoring the unanswered questions of yesterday, postponing the speculations about tomorrow, can we just revel in the effect of that disarming charm of the business tycoon ready to surrender in front his nephew.

Can we just take a moment to register the endearing cuteness of a man who literally swept us off our feet in the past, continues to rule our hearts in the present and will stay inseparable from our lives in the tomorrows to come!!

Take a bow Barun Sobti !! For giving us a beautiful "present" moment.

That one "present" moment.

The entire Chiku Maama - Aadi scene was so heart tugging ki...like you've said, it doesn't matter what Advay did yesterday, what he is going to do tomorrow. All that matters is that one moment.

Of pure unadulterated love.

Of unblemished innocence.

Of unscathed relation.

It was a total winner, heads on so, to see the great Advay Singh Raizada be stripped of his everything and become Aadi's Chiku Maama.

When the mighty figurine was hugged so damn hard that he stumbled back to ground? I don't think anything apart a child's fearless and pure love can do that.

And to see the otherwise brooding unapologetic dark anti hero, become a dotting and dare I add, adorable Maama?
I don't think anything apart a child can do that.

So yes, Barun Sobti.. thank you.
For this one "present" moment that showed us yet another shade of Advay and made me root and go aww over him, all the more.

Zakhm hain gehre, andheron mein thairtha raha main;
saalon se iss dard-ae-ghamon ki aag, khaa hi jaa raha tha mujhe.

Phir aaya tu, tera pyaar, bachpanaa aur maasoomyat;
kuch pal ke liye hi sahi, raakshas se rajkumar bana diya hain mujhe.
