As we all know Jen has been defending Maya's character from the very beginning 😆. And despite eveything she has been consistent with saying that her character is a grey character. The other day on the live chat... when asked how was the experience of playing a negative character...she replied that her character was not negative and once again repeated that her character is a grey character. As she has been very consistent with defending her character...do you think it is because she knows something about the story/Maya that the audience does not yet know?...or do you think she just likes defending Maya 😆

Maya has blood on her hands; that too of multiple people and some were innocents. How can anyone deem that "grey" in his/her right mind? No amount of backstory can undo what has transpired with respect to her character. I wouldn't hold her statements with too much importance. As a leading lady of a rather regressive TV industry, she perhaps doesn't want the stigma of a "villain". Or possibly an endeavor to keep things under the wraps.

She herself posted a social media message, "And from #ShadesOfGrey she fades to #BLACK ... or will she? With #MAYA you'll never know ...until you find out on #BEYHADH mon-fri 9pm" on 3rd May, for a promo, attempting to shoot down Saanjh & Vandana with her gun!

After her character is convicted for capital punishment for man-slaughtering, if the CVs want us to believe that Maya is only grey, then what is really black?

@TM, Maya has been convicted of her evil acts and the sentence has also been pronounced. I do not condone her evil acts but if I go deep into the character of Maya I find some goodness inside her. The world never allowed her to let her goodness overcome her evil which led her to committing so many crimes.
So Jennifer may mean this when she says that Maya is grey.

Question: If Maya pay for all her sins, does that revert her character from black to grey?
