Taking the bait lol- I assume you don't know much about South Indian actors otherwise your statement makes no sense. Not finding Dhanush good-looking is one thing, but how can you find all of them bad, when there are so many with diverse looks and build.

Telling Dhanush is a better actor than Ranbir is not a point to prove, trust me there is no point to prove when you yourself has agreed that such type of characters has been done by Dhanush before, and therefore even though it is Ranbir's career best Dhanush has multiple career best performances.

And if the remake is actually made, then comparisons will be inevitable, nothing to take away from Ranbir, but its true that Dhanush has played far more challenging roles and succeeded in every genre while he is younger than Ranbir, Ranbir is more an urban hero material, whereas Dhanush caters to both classy and massy audience.

And if you think Dhanush cannot bring freshness to a character he plays onscreen, then you might have not watched him much, I know its difficult to watch south films due to the language.

Yes he is a star down south he is mostly known for his unconventional characters onscreen, like deaf and dumb, school boy in love, gangster, psychopaths, bipolar patient, stalker, unemployed, etc😆

Good thing is that he earned trophies and success in every genre despite being ridiculed massively for his looks.

Apart from being an actor/star, he is a singer too and a director now, his debut directorial has been a run away success this year😳

Usually when you have to say no offense meant, you're being offensive. Similar to when racists say they aren't being racist but then go on and make a racial slur.

What are you talking about?

The South remakes 5x more Bollywood films than the other way around. Everything from the Jolly LLB's to Pyaar Ka Punchnamas.
There's everything from Pink to Nil Batay Sanata in the works right now.
