Why didn't Devi Ambika kill Shumbh Nishumbh?

Ambika is Parvati who creates Kali . When devas requested Ambika to kill the demons Mahakali emerges from her forehead. Kali kills Chanda Munda . Raktabija was killed by Ambika while Kali drinks the blood . Again Sumbha Nisumbha were killed by Ambika only.

In the final battle with them. Ambika,Kali Matrikas (mother goddesses created by Ambika) every one participated.

So Parvati is the supreme goddess Ambika who kills demons on the request of gods. Nothing like it was shown in the show.
