If SRK was there, it would have done even more great and become a BB. :D Plus it would have got a solid high opening too. Because even though recent SRK's film doesn't earn quite high enough but opening days are still proof of his Stardom which means audience still loves him and willing to give chance to his new films. :D

Would government have supported it if SRK was in movie? Great content movie have failed before because media has not supported it or ruckus was generated by certain community.

Without trying to take away any of Akki's hard work (he is my favorite and I have watched all of his flops when his time was bad), some of success does belong to being there at right time, to his smartness at choosing a good manager, poor showing of some big budget prior to the movie release and to the fact that he has built his reputation as man who is nationalist at heart.

If toilet and lota was attached to any superstar Salman or SRK, the result may not have been in their favor.

Except Aamir who has freed himself, the other two are still somewhat type casted by audience. 😊
