Sri Krishna narrates how Hanumaan laid the foundation for his arrival on earth and how he fulfilled a promise given by Hanumaan to the govardhan parvat during his Ram avatar. He goes on to tell the tale of Hanumaan helping Arjun become a better warrior by destroying the pride he had developed on his archery skills.
