Cannot expect much from an actor who opted for Canadian citizenship and talks of patriotism. Like leader, like bhakts

Hmmm." #ToiletEkPremKatha deserves to be flushed down'' says review. Now shamefully mainstream cinema joins Modi PR.

Toilet: Ek Bhakt Ki Katha

Instead of being a satire that could goad people into understanding the sanitation crisis in India, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is a dishonest, factually incorrect love letter to Narendra Modi.

Yes there is a reference that if Modi can do demonetization for a change, why not lock down toilets of government employee.

If previous government are blamed then its rightly done. 2900 cr toilet scam. I can post all the scam on toilet but it will be locked anyway.

Sadly open defecation is big problem in village.

Rightly done??😆😆...of course😆...so the movie being a propaganda is absolutely right...the issue is TOILETS...and the solutions for it...and not which government did what?? 😃..

I know yaar! People are too mean! Due to personal reasons they want to badmouth Akshay. You know what? I saw something similar happen in this forum too. Due to personal vengeance some people created thread after thread on Tube light. Even brought Salman in unrelated threads. Ended up with WL raise. I wonder why people cannot be large hearted like Akki?

Seriously... hatred is so much against this government that even a film on a social cause is causing burnol moment to them 😆after 60 years of independence and still people of india dnt have toilet in their home and when someone raise a issue people start spreading venom and their hatred🤢

but audience give zor ka chaanta on their cheek to give good response to this government propaganda movie 😆😛

Bas ab yeh pseudo liberal or intellectual virodh main toilet use karna band na kar de 😆😆😆

IMO these reviewers didn't had problem with the movie's story, acting or screenplay itself. But with few mentions like "4 saal pehle ki scans" and "agar hamare PM desh ki bhalae k liye notebandi kar sakte hai, toh hum kuch toilets nahi band kar sakte ". Okay, but my question is, is these two mentions enough to rate the movie 2 star or 2.5 stars or 1.5 stars, instead of a somewhat respectable 3 star or 3.5 stars or even 4 stars?
So just because of these two mentions, they will rate a good entertainment filled movie lower?
