It might do business thanks to Dhanush and the budget being only 30 mil. But it is not getting good reviews. 😭 But then again TEPK is also getting similar reviews so it seems like a slow year for movies.

The original VIP is one of the biggest brands of Dhanush. It could do good business. But reviews were better for it. As for Kajol this is not the first Tamil film she has made.

There was a time when specific people in power or just close to FF editor got all big trophies

I mean if talent prevailed then where was Best Actress award for Tabu in Chandni Bar over giving it to OTT performance of mediocre Kajol. Or Manisha winning it for Dil Se rather than KKHH?

Honestly if you see how 1993 till 2006 was at Bolly awards.

YRF/Dharma/Filmkraft (Rakesh Roshan) took awards at Filmfare. Even likes of Munnabhai series and many deserving films were missed out.

I mean you really gotta be kidding when films like Satya/Zakhm/Vaastav/Bandit Queen/ Khamoshi/The Legend Of Bhagat Singh/Maachis/Chandini Bar were winning national awards. Here Filmfare was showering trophies on Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.

Kamal Hassan is someone I considered one of the finest Indian actors but I will still dispute his national award for Sadma. Sridevi should have won it IMO. Point is, every award can be disputed.

She has 6 film fares, you can dispute each of them and you would be justified in your view.

This takes me back to the day you were using Kangana's NA wins as her defence 😆

End of the day one will believe what they want to even if it appears as act of hypocrisy or contradict themselves. 😆
