The treatment meted out to technicians and other waged worked on the sets of TV shows has often been a concern and in light of the same, their union has been visiting sets of TV shows, putting forth their plea.
And, in the same instance, the union reached the sets of Star Plus Dopahar show, Love Ka Hai Intezaar. Mohit Sehgal, aka Ayaan also posted a video on the same, mentioning about the chakka jam from 15th August.
When quizzed about the union visiting the sets, he said, "This has been happening and they have been visiting all the sets to tell people about reworking their working hours to an 8 hour shift, giving their payments on time, and having proper toilets. They are finally taking a stand regarding all of this."
When asked what does he think about it, he said, "I think that it is necessary that the working hours get reduced... Being an artist, I can totally understand their muddle. And, for everyone who is on wages or salary, they should receive it on time, and I totally agree to their stance."
Well, we think that these issues must definitely be looked into and we are also sure that the same will be taken care of.
