Just finished watching this show... like others mentioned this one reminds me of Gulaal. However, PKK is going to be a much more dramatized version of Gulaal.

Inspite of today's episode being Saas Bahu stuff I found it interesting... cause Diya has started growing up. The story is really crisp and is moving at a fast pace and keeping the viewers glued to the show inspite of there being no adult ML!! Loving Niranjan Iyengar's dialogues and screenplay. He was the one who has worked in many movies and he has been amazing so far.

Does anyone know who wrote, composed and sang the title song? Have been listening to it non stop since yesterday. The meaning seem to imply that Diya made a concious decision to accept Ratan as her husband and be with him. But Ratan as a kid did not do the same, he does not know about the rules... he believes that she is his Pari and will fulfill his wishes... how will this transform to love for him?

My guess on the story... Kaki masa is going to obviously cause problems between Ratan and Diya. At some point Diya / Kaki would decide to send Ratan to London to study. But when he returns 12 years later will he want to continue to be with Diya? Maybe their relationship will have big time speed bumps and Abhay would still be interested in Diya and that would add some big bang in the jealousy angle.

Wonder how Diya would manage to establish herself in this household with all its negativity and how would a man who has stayed in London consider a child marriage? That is something to be seen hopefully soon. Loving the young Ratan and Diya's bond but want to see some romance... and that can happen only 12 years after 😛 I love angst and would want to see some angst between Diya and the grown Ratan. Given that Diya is starting to get smart and that her father is going to be out of the house by tomorrow... Diya's growing up is going at Rocket speed. That means romance is on the cards in a month max? 😆😆

Can you write on your thoughts about the story arc going forward?

completely agree with you...muje bhi title song bahot pasand hai uske lyrics ka to kya kahena such a meanigful song...i think diya has tough road ahead...diya ko abhi bhi bahot strong hone ki jarurat hai i hopre maker jaldi hi diya ka stronger version dikhaye...haa diya ke papa ko kal uske sasre vale nikal denge ghar se par unko bhi to protect karna padega...diya ke father ki kitni baar aur insult hogi aur kab diya fight back karegi..diya ke pas power hai bas use sahi tarike se use karna aana baki hai and diya ko jayada sharp mind hona padega..i think ratansa ko abhi nahi kahi study ke liye bhejege thode time ke baad jayege vo shayad...kyunki abhi tak ratan and diya ka bond unique to hai but ratan ko bahar bhejne se pahele vo bond bahot strong ho jana chahiye jissko koi bhi tod na paaye..so i think upcoming track abhi to diya ka bond ratan ke sath and Diya ke growth pe hi focus rahega kuch time tak..

if i start to type then it may not end..
am really impressed with PPK.. they are not dragging with unncessary drama.. everything to the point.. blending drama with dira cutenes.. feel good show..
usually youth watches TV show for hot male leads and romance but PPK is stealing hearts without any of it.. pure friendship, innocence and family drama..
after 15 more episoded Abhay ill enter to spice up drama..leap may be after one more month i guess.. DiRA bonding to be cementd and diya to be more bold..

I have a strong feeling that kaki maasa is not bad at all,she is just being protective about ratan saa as she hardly knows diya...also i have a feeling that yash banna's mother will be the culprit...reason being she is coming out to be bechaari types, she wants to take diya on her side by pre warning diya that something bad is going to happen to her babasa.

I really hope Diya and Ratan are not the endgame. That would be so wrong 😲 I want Diya to fall for someone of her age.She should be torn between her heart and doing her duty. And I want Ratan to graciously release her.

Nothing wrong in Ratan falling for Dia after he turns 21. But a minor marriage is what freaks out people. Anyways, the concept is interesting and the treatment has been good so far, Indian shows have to be taken with a packet of salt!!

Watch or read about Gulaal the tv show that had the same concept but was more acceptable and was a master piece. For now I am enjoying the show... including the Saas bahu elements 😛😉

Back to the story, things are not good now as Ratan is a kid. But come 21 he has a choice... he can continue to be married or decide to end the relationship. Dia would need to go with his stand. But my guess is Ratan's affection will change from platonic to romantic love with time and he will fall deeper in deeper in love with Dia and vice versa.

The actor playing Kaaki Masa is wonderful, kind of reminds me of Sudha Chandran. She will be the trump card Hero Villain lady... thats my guess... She is grey and is no angel... which way she turns only time will tell. Cant say much about Priya, is that her name? Comes out as an ok character.

Nothing wrong in Dian being together throughout. In fact it only sounds right that Diya and Ratan be the endgame.

Makes little sense if Diya stays tied to Ratan just out of obligation till she is released. Just turns her bond with Ratan entirely shallow. Psshtt so many adult marriages are breaking nowadays.. what's new if Diya-Ratan's relation has to meet the same fate? Love is independent of age and marriage can be successful irrespective of age and age gap if two people involved show resolve are mature, sensible and share a deep, strong bond, companionship and understanding. Dian bond has to prove that.

If i am not mistakem makers told its a story about a boy falling in love with his caretaker...so most probably diya will consider ratan as her husband and wait till he attains maturity but ratan after growing up will fall for girl of his age and then as story progresses he will fall in love with diya.

If the makers go by Gulaals story... which I think they will... it will be how Ratan has always considered only Dia as his wife. He will be angry with Dia for sending him away from her and Dia would want to marry him off to someone his age.
That will be fun towatch and angst filled. Should give us intense romance.

Can't wait for the grown up Ratan
