It was realistic. There are men who dates modern girls but want to marry Satis. Example:Tiger Shroff. The film was boring. But I loved Deepika in the movie. She was so natural.

There are regressive elements in the film. Gautam's character was unlikeable and superficial- he had nothing in him to justify how these 2 women both fell in deep love with him. However what saves it is the characterization of Veronica. Like the way she called out Meera's betrayal

The dialogues and acting did a great job in showing the modern, 'open' women like Veronica's pain and emotions and made the audience sympathise with her over the traditional, susheel woman. Generally movies I had seen either a)pair up the Veronica-type character with a new love interest or b) make Gautam fall in love with her ~reformed avatar. Glad neither happened. Wish it had a different ending as Gautam got his happy ending which he didn't deserve.. but overall, seeing that most viewers hated his character and regressive mentality, movie did it's (unintentonal) job 😊

Yeah totally agree, Gautham did not deserve Veronica or Meera and Veronica someone much better than Gautam. For me Deepika;s performance as Veronica was the biggest take away from the film, she was really good, I felt really bad for her and she was amazing in that scene before she gets hit by the car, But she accepted it with a loot of pain .

The two girls fighting over Gautam was hard to believe. But i enjoyed the film.

Gautham should have ended up alone
Deepika's act was the best in the film
I could relate to her much more than Meera
I feel so bad when she dances drunk in the bar
I actually loved when she blasted Meera

The ending really ruined it for me. I really wanted both girls to find their own paths without the waste man Saifu.
